It's one of my least favourites from her too :( I hope she switches it up with her next song, because this was a very samey sounding release.

Good that it did enter at #4 in the UK and going Top 10 in the US. I was underwhelmed by this from Ariana. She has done better.

 

 

This has fallen to #19 in the US this week. Not a bad performance so far but underwhelming by Ariana's standards. '7 rings' is only 10 places lower :lol:

Ooh 'boyfriend' dropped to #13 in the UK today, a smaller fall than I was expecting! I guess it did make small climbs this week on Spotify.

Good to see it stabilising after the week 2 dive.

That's good news then, but yes, I'd say complacent was the correct word.

Down to #17 in the first look chart. 'boyfriend' ended up charting two places higher than the first look position suggested last week, so I hope a similar situation happens this week so it can spend another week in the top 15!

It is similar to TUN but I VASTLY prefer this. The former doesn't go anywhere & overly relies on its expensive video whereas this at least has a wee chorus to it. TUN's chorus sounds like the kind of ringtone that comes by default on a shitty phone.

The exact same trend is happening in the US for this! Big second week drop and then stabilising in the third week. Down just one place: 8-18-19
