my favs were the Slovenian song, which was a sorta indie duet, zero Eurovision-esque, France and Australia

really thought Australia was gonna do better with the public vote

same for France

Didnt like Slovenia or France myself but did think Australia would be higher.

Kate herself said it was a song for Eurovision and not the sort of song that would get chart success/airplay

^sounded pretty radio-friendly to me

The staging made it and without the Brill staging it's a song I wouldnt remember. Really delighted for keiino though as number 4 is a serious good iTunes peak for them as I didn't think they would get as high, it's a great great pop song and its a shame it went so unnoticed with most of the juries as it could have won and made a great winner.

I hope there's a future for KEiiNO. It would seem there is still a market for this kind of europop and nobody else is making it!

Definitely. I am always telling this to my husband that there is a gap in the market for a fun europop group/act. Most people would assume there is no interest in them but no-one is doing this type of pop anymore for anyone to know. There are a quite a few gaps in the market at the moment. I am surprised there's no boybands anymore, I am sure there would be a market for them!

As for KeiiNo it's almost a shame that its attached to Eurovision as I think it could have been a hit with a push.

There are loads of boybands making great pop music now but Spotify playlists and radio are ignoring them! Why Don't We, PRETTYMUCH and New Hope Club are all making hit-ready music, as well as CNCO for the Latin market. All have big social media followings but the platforms that matter aren't showing interest even with big labels behind them.

I agree, as it's not the trashy euro pop either, it's a very strong and catchy pop song. I would greatly welcome the return of good europop.

What is this 'Hatrio Mun Sigra' that keeps being included in the updates xx (the Icelandic letter is an accented d, not an o).

Wow at KEiiNO doing this well!! Maybe has a small chance of going top 40 this week?

I would love that to happen

Isn't Keiino a temporary thing? They only started last year together, and they're all solo musicians .
