August 2, 20195 yr You had Bonita Applebum on vinyl. Wow! I have the Erasure LP and the Shamen LPs you listed in my collection as well
August 2, 20195 yr Author Yes! I'm sure I had some other quite cool singles too that I oddly liked among the throwaway pop of the time but I can't remember them as easily now.

August 4, 20195 yr Oh gosh I never thought about my original vinyl collection when I was a kid, to the best of my memory mine would have contained a vastly different selection with very varied levels of quality!: ps this will kill dead any sense of being cool that I ever had on this site. Roxette - Look Sharp! Singles wise I had: ( in general but quite the mix again in quality!) Erasure - Sometimes I'm sure I'd have had other atrocious singles too but that's all I can recall at the moment Cool is over-rated  I actually bought loads on your list (even some Jason and Kylie) but had switched to CD by then and Now albums. The only vinyl ones I definitely still have are the above - though KLF, Depeche, Erasure, PSB, and even Mariah Carey are in my collection. I was also buying US maxi-CD singles when I went to the States, they had loads of remixes and/or bonus tracks
August 4, 20195 yr Just pre ordered the re-release of Zero 7’s When It Falls, should be with me by the end of the week! Now I just have to wait for The Garden to be re issued now.
August 4, 20195 yr Author That’s a great album! Never thought about it but am off to investigate now...
August 5, 20195 yr Yes, I have Choirgirl on vinyl, bought on release day back in 98!! and got the Little Earthquakes vinyl personally signed by Tori herself the Deluxe of Damien's O is like the most beautiful thing ever, it's like a book more than a record :D
August 5, 20195 yr Author I sooooo want those. I clicked the email link for the O deluxe as soon as I noticed it but it had already sold out :( And it goes for silly money these days so I’ve had to settle for the standard edition.
August 24, 20195 yr I've been collecting vinyl on and off since I was a kid but only started seriously in my early 20's, I used to collect anything on the Twisted Nerve label to start with (Badly Drawn Boy etc) and a lot of things from the Manchester scene of that time (despite being born at the opposite end of the country!) but went off on all sorts of tangents! I've kind of lost track of how much vinyl I've got, as it's spread all over the place, but I think I have more 12" singles than I do LP's, around 70/30 old/new.. I much prefer second-hand vinyl but I'll buy a new LP if there's something I really like.
August 25, 20195 yr Author Interesting, sounds like you have quite a collection going on there! Do you have any standout favourites that we should check out? (ps hello and welcome to the forum!)
