Posted June 1, 20196 yr Sea Girls are a fast rising indie band from London who signed last month with Polydor! Their debut album is expected for release in Q1 2020. They've released 3 singles not on any of their EPs - so they will likely be on the album. All I Want To Hear You Say, Open Up Your Head and Damage Done. I love all three, especially All I Want To Hear You Say as it's what got me into the band. wpGK1pHn4CA XVpmnKUhcSc U448acZ93E4
June 4, 20196 yr Thanks Odyssey!! ❤️ The first single ALWTHYS was a personal chart no1 for me. Damage Done was Annie Macs HR last month - and its incredible.
June 5, 20196 yr All I Want to Hear You Say is incredible, got me from the first time I heard it! In fact all their songs have been great,Damage Done still needs a bit of time I think but still a solid track.
June 15, 20196 yr Author Saw them yesterday and they were fantastic! The lead singer is a brilliant frontman, loads of energy and confidence.
June 15, 20196 yr Author Are they still playing small venues? Well I saw them at the IOW Festival, decent sized crowd. Lots of people singing along. They're doing reasonably sized venues on their tour, not massive, but I reckon this time next year once the album's out they'll be doing O2 Academies. Edited June 15, 20196 yr by WhoOdyssey
June 15, 20196 yr Yeh, I'd much rather watch a band in a small venue than a big O2 arena style. We don't really have o2 academy's over in Ireland just smaller bar venues like the Limelight or students union in Belfast - saw Jake Bugg at the later a few years back. Always a lot more intimate or something.
August 21, 20195 yr Author They just keep getting better! This album is going to be amazing qwAZlhBUNvo
August 21, 20195 yr Author What's the new single? 'Violet' was released yesterday - don't know if it's a single or not though. (Should be though! Brilliant song)
August 21, 20195 yr Just listened to both there - actually love Closed as it shows a different side to them from the three bangers already released!
November 22, 20195 yr Author An EP 'Under Exit Lights' has been announced today to be released on 6th March - hopefully the debut album comes before the end of next year! The tracklisting is TBA. @1197817198376562688
November 23, 20195 yr I assume they're releasing an EP in March and not the album due to them not picking up momentum commercially!?
November 23, 20195 yr Author I assume they're releasing an EP in March and not the album due to them not picking up momentum commercially!? I doubt it, I'm not sure they could be any more commercial at this early stage of their career. I'm sure the album will release later next year, have all new songs (put previous ones on the EP), so the lead can be properly promoted in the Summer.
November 24, 20195 yr Odd decision to put out an EP in Q1 instead of an album, given that they’ve already built significant momentum in 2019 but oh well.
