Mariam and Ashrad, i cant say i will miss them, they have made next to no impact on the show.

Shenice would be what, 16/17 now? She could fit in again but I don’t feel like she was in it long enough/has enough of a warranted connection with Kat anymore to come back. She hasn’t even been mentioned since she left and with Tamara Wall in Hollyoaks I doubt there’s scope for it.
Shenice was bezzies with Tiff tho!

Maybe if Martine or whatever her name was died and she came bak to live with Kat, I agree it's a tenuous connection though plus Kat has enough to deal with and certainly no room at the Slater inn

All the more reason to get her back behind the bar as landlady tho

This Bex storyline is atrocious.

I wonder if the Ted storyline is she kills him and returns to the Square?

Stanning Phil Mitchell the gay rights hero tbh

Amazing episode though, Callum finally finding the courage to be himself and being so happy with doing it at the end  It was great to see Lola utilised too by being the one to give that good advice and push Callum to do it.

Yes it was done very well, it's hard to believe that Callum has turned into such an interesting character as up until a couple of months ago he was background fodder. The writers have also done well with stuart, pairing him with rainie has really worked.

Stuart should have been like this from the start and THEN eventually gone crazy and targeted the Carters ... if they needed that storyline. How it was actually done was HORRENDOUS.

Callum, my heart

(Lmao Jess Glynne I’ll Be There playing over his triumphant moment did ever so slightly spoil it)

I agree, as it could have been handled as a mental health storyline.

That said, back then the show had no idea how to cover a mental health storyline with any respect.

Except from with Hayley, but she has been axed never to be spoken of again.

For a character that was used so much she now doesnt even get a mention.

Whatever happened to Hayley.

For a time she was like EastEnders version of Gemma in Corrie (in terms of being used a lot Hayley was way better acting wise)

Then she just gone.

I’d genuinely really like her to come back as well but I feel something must’ve went on behind the scenes or something feels very strange the exit she got. In some ways I’d rather she’d been killed off because at least then Katie could’ve left on a memorable high of a storyline but instead she just vanished. Shameful. I hope we will see her back at some point or at least mention her.
