Can someone remind me why Perfect has so far avoided permanent ACR despite passing the three year SCR threshold from release?

Presumably it's being tracked from it being released as a single from late 2017 as opposed to when it charted on the release of Divide?

No it'll count from release, it just needs to decline 3 times before it hits ACR

They should change the rule so that once a song turns 3 years old, it is automatically placed onto ACR

Because there are so many songs flouting that rule

I’d be good if the vast majority of the 1 week declines would hit ACR on the same week, would make for a very interesting chart. I don’t think there’s to be any improvement in weather anytime soon so a lot of them may continue to fall

I am all up for those songs on DC1 list to hit ACR in 2 weeks...they all done amazing and they have nice chart runs!!!

Really hope all the DCL-1 songs get ACR'd, maybe sans H&H. Would be interesting to see!

So that's 19 songs on DCL-1 compared to 8 on DCL-2, DCL-3 and SCR (at 7+ weeks) combined... I have to say I'm losing patience with the current rules, as it seems too easy for multiple songs to avoid it with minimal increases in streams due to good weather like we had (early) last week.

 

Rather than any increase being enough to avoid ACR, I think it should be an increase of more than the streaming market OR something like 2.5%. If a song increases by 0.1% when the market increases 4%, that wouldn't suggest it's coming back into any sort of favour to justify ACR avoidance.

It does - it had a noticeable effect even before lockdown. Hot weather = higher streams!

Kinda inclined to disagree. Lots of kids will listen to music on the bus or whatever on the way to school so I don’t think there’ll be a noticeable dip tbh.

Wonder if it snows in October would Christmas songs get a boost>??
