On 28 April, it was announced the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons would not resume because of the coronavirus pandemic. In a letter to France's prime minister and sports minister, Aulas said French football would face an "unprecedented economic and social crisis". Lyon were seventh when the season was ended, so miss European qualification.

May 26, 20205 yr After two rounds of matches in Germany,there have been 3 home wins and 10 away wins so it would appear that there is no advantage in playing at home when there is no crowd in the stadium. The English teams complaining about neutral venues should bear that in mind. I'll watch this Dortmund v Bayern game this evening. I'm hoping for a Dortmund win to close the gap at the top of the table to one point.
