I suspect it will be the Khalid, Stormzy and Eminem songs charting this week. I Don't Care is on ACR now so that will fall 2-OUT :drama:
I was expecting Beautiful People to be a certainly for #1 next week but depending on how much the streams drop it's not out of the question at all that Shawn and & Camilla could stay at the top :o

would much prefer Senorita to keep the #1

if Beautiful People gets the #1 in singles is gonna be only cos of the double counting

That’s what I thought.

But I can easily see it re entering the chart back inside the top 15 in like 2-3 weeks :w00t:

It’s typical how Blow the best song he’s ever done is doing the worst!! I hoped for South of the border to be higher too.

With different 3 ed tracks doing best on different formats really intrigued to see which ones go top 40 (also IDC is lucky to have fallen to number 2 last week could have gone from number 1 to out)
it's streaming what matters, he's selling barely nothing on iTunes, 500 copies a day for his top songs, the rest between 100-250 a day
Freya only dropped 9 spots despite all the new songs. I wonder if she can climb the official Top 40?

Ed isn't able to have any other new songs debuting ahead of her without pushing himself out so probably :P

I thought someone said it was a different top 3 on Apple music

If IDC only needs a 25% increase to return to SCR it should easily achieve that, so I'd expect it to go 2-OUT-5 or similar, with Ed's 3rd track 'doing an Emotionless'.

but it can’t be reset if it is starred out of the chart, unless the occ have changed that rule too.

was checking how Divide did, and on day 1 it did 232K on physicals alone without streaming

if Minty's post is right, the new album did around 20K... which is like 10% of what Divide did!!!!!

Same in the US as well. Massively down on Divide’s opening sales. Think this was always going to get nowhere near Divide. His next solo release will beat this but Divide is almost surely Ed’s “peak”. Not that he will care much as there’s only a tiny number of artists who will reach that kind of peak.

Must admit that if the opening quotes are correct for US and UK that’s surely lower than expected

I think people should take Minty with a pinch of salt, we all know things like Amazon physicals etc can be missing on any given day. I'd be stunned if he 'only' did 20k first day plus all pre-orders.

It obviously wont be as big as Divide but I'd be stunned if he is doing that low physically.

not trusting Minty 100% either... he's been off so many times in the past... can't believe Ed sales are gonna fall 90% relative to Divide

US Spotify top 20:

#4 - Beautiful People

#5 - Antisocial

#9 - South of The Border

#10 - I Don't Care

#13 - Remember The Name

#18 - Cross Me
