July 14, 20197 yr Author Making the thread visible quite early to drum up a bit of hype x Hiya everyone, hope you're enjoying your Sundays. Radio 1 are playing a 1 hour "First Look" midweek show at 6pm today. I've prepped stuff for a Buzzjack countdown much like the Friday chart. It could well go tits up because I'm genuinely prepping stuff blindly but please bear with x Fine-tuning will occur over the coming weeks if necessary so look at today as a trial run! Hope you can join in the action from 6pm! :D

July 14, 20197 yr It’s our first look at the First Look show! :D Glad there’s a thread for this, should be good for participation and excitement. Especially as these are the first mids too, we don’t necessarily know for sure what to expect!
July 14, 20197 yr Ah it feels like the good old days with a Sunday chart event on BuzzJack *.* can actually listen to this live!
July 14, 20197 yr Author Ooh, exciting!!! Early mids! Joseph can you msg me when the shows abojt to air bc I’ll forget if not x I'll try to remember but don't hate me (feat. Juice WRLD) if I don't xx
July 14, 20197 yr I’ll be able to follow along with this live when I can’t on a friday so this is good to have! (though I won’t be able to actually listen live tonight) can’t say I’d be excited by another Ed number one but I do actually prefer BP to Senorita so..
July 14, 20197 yr Should be interesting to see which Ed songs make it in, and whether I Don’t Care has been pushed out by ACR or not.
July 14, 20197 yr I’ll try and be here if I can. Looking forward to being able to attend a buzzjack event again. :)

Formed in 2009, the pair eschewed the traditional quest for major-label interest, concentrating instead on spreading the word via social media, and eventually via their own label and clothing line, Play Dirty. It was a 2010 mixtape titled Tsunami that initially turned the heads of a significant number of people, before their cover of Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Otis" racked up millions of YouTube views in less than a week in early 2011. When a gunman burst into Konan's mother's home that summer, injuring her and fatally shooting his stepfather, the duo subsequently dealt with the incident in the autobiographical "My Story." Later that year, the Tottenham-born grime artist Skepta invited them to open for him in Glasgow. Although this was effectively Krept & Konan's first gig, it cemented a relationship between the three, and Skepta continued to promote their music online, as did such luminaries of the U.K. scene as Wretch 32 and Professor Green. Momentum was built by way of holding off the official release of any further material until the September 2013 mixtape Young Kingz surfaced. The album managed to reach the U.K. Top 20 with an almost nonexistent marketing budget, and featured appearances from artists such as Giggs, Chip, and Tinie Tempah. A year later the group signed with Def Jam, and released The Long Way Home on the label in 2015. The album featured guest spots from Ed Sheeran, Rick Ross, and Wiz Khalifa, and debuted at number two on the U.K. albums chart. The duo returned in 2017 with two simultaneously released mixtapes. 7 Days was the more club oriented of the two, and featured guest spots from Skepta and Stormzy; 7 Nights had more of an R&B flavor and featured appearances from Hudson East and Tony Lanez. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Krept & Konan 2015 09 Freak Of The Week (feat.
