I know I only made the fave final single poll yesterday but 'One Last Time' is winning by a landslide, just like 'no tears left to cry' did in the fave first single poll!

No point hanging around so let's go with it - which song does BJ prefer out of potentially Ari's two most loved songs? :o

Vote!

no tears left to cry

Especially the video version with the intro. Her all time best.

One Last Time is probably her signature song in the UK though.

One Last Time getting to #2 was such an unsettling chart for me though. It obviously deserved to go to #2 if not #1 BUT The circumstances behind it were absolutely tragic. I live in South Shields too where two of the victims were from. There’s a huge chair with angel wings above it dedicated to them outside of our town hall.

Was it the mid twenties it peaked at originally and even then at the time it seemed to take ages to go top 40 too I thought it was gonna be Love Me Harder all over again. It’s one of those rare charts where you’d instantly take back the peak it has now because of the circumstances behind its climb / resurgence. It’s hard to explain what I mean really...

Omg yes listening to 'no tears left to cry' with its video intro somehow enhances an 11/10 song even more  makes it feel all the more ethereal.

Yeah 'One Last Time' did originally peak in the 20s, #24 iirc, which is decent for a fourth single but felt way too low all the same due to how huge sounding it was. Glad that it's now one of her biggest hits but of course under the worst circumstances. </3

'Love Me Harder's UK peak will always bother me - at least the US got it right though!

One Last Time but both are absolutely FLAWLESS.

I love how euphoric NTLTC sounds, but I'm a sucker for a generic pop beat and insanely ridiculously catchy hook and chorus, so OLT has it beat. In my top 10 of all time I think. I assume NTLTC would be top 25 or so.

I need to purchase the video version somehow! It just feels right having it it really adds to the song in my opinion.

I agree on Love Me Harder too. Just imagine if that exact song was released in 2019 though. Off name alone it could challenge for #1. It was unlucky in its peak in that at the time both artists were just breaking through and were yet to properly peak.

Also in regards to the poll it’s so close!! I did expect it to be though.

One Last Time just from no tears left to cry. Both amazing songs though. 'One Last Time' feels very poignant to listen to now following the events of 2017. NTLTC is also flawless.
