July 20, 20197 yr Author I’m surprised to see Kristian Leontiou playlisted, I was really into Some Say a few months ago after finding out Meredith Kercher was in the video :o You should check out his album, it's actually brilliant :wub: pretty weird to me that they supported AIR, which were amazing but pretty alternative, but then didn't playlist Anastacia guess cos of her age? (we all know how ageist R1 can be) Did they really never playlist anything by Anastasia? I remember them snubbing 'I'm Outta Love' but thought they might have playlisted 'Left Outside Alone'?? Do they ever play her as part of their Greatest Hits?
July 20, 20197 yr Anastacia’s age probably didn’t come into it given that at the time she claimed to be 5 years younger than she was. They do play her music when they do retro features though. Are they doing summer mixes this year?

Are they doing summer mixes this year? No idea. It looks as if ‘Radio 1 Anthems’ has replaced it this year as it’s now being featured on Clara’s show between 10am and 11am.
