After an incredibly tight run final, in which all three songs finished within a point of each other, it's the early leader Irreplaceable which is sadly eliminated. The song marked a shift in Bey's sound from big pop/R&B numbers to something more mid-tempo, not too dissimilar from some of Destiny's Child's music. It's a huge favourite of hers to perform live, and sparked the beginning of the infamous "hey Mrs Carter" call and response that later appeared as an interlude on Beyoncé's self titled album.

Telephone is a great song but in no way is an accurate representation of Beyoncé’s career... I’m glad it was such a huge hit and that it got far in this elimination but Crazy In Love is a way better fit
