I know it’s pointless posting in this thread at the moment while we await whatever future the compilation series has, but they could have used this time to promote their digital platform by making Now 105 a digital release for now and then release the CD at a later time. Personally I’m not a fan of only having potentially one or two releases in a calendar year for the amount of new music we are still receiving at present. If new music releases had slowed I would understand the reasons more, but how can other artists still be releasing new albums on streaming platforms while the Now series sits back and does nothing.

Just think how many people would be playing Now 105 in their homes during this lockdown if it was made available online. Not many will care for the songs intended for the volume by the time it gets its release as many artists have continued to release newer singles. Dua Lipa for example now has 3 qualifying Top 10 singles from her new era waiting to be put on a volume.

Perhaps BuzzJack will need to compile its own Now 105 tracklist.

That's what I thought when they announced Now 105 will postponed.

They’re still very reliant on physical sales. If they released now I’d dread to think how bad the sales would be.

Perhaps BuzzJack will need to compile its own Now 105 tracklist.

I'd love it if this got sent to NOW and they published this as their tracklist

The Now Music YouTube channel is set to made for kids thanks to YouTube COPPA, I can't recieve notifications from the channel anymore.

Like most of us here, I am personally saddened by the postponement of the release of NOW 105 and the re-release of NOW 5 because of the current global health issue, and its effect on the entertainment industry. If its new release date of Friday, 08 May 2020, is confirmed, it will be the first numbered UK NOW album to be released in the month of May. NOW 105's track list will probably be available by next week, which is two weeks before its release.

I do agree with what awardinlockdown stated about making NOW 105 a digital-only release for the time being, with the CD release coming later. Though I have to admit, gavindeejay's point (i.e. the NOW team still relying on physical sales for the NOW albums) is also valid.

Meanwhile, over in the States, here are some of the details for their upcoming Q2 release, NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 74.

The album's cover is very similar to UK's NOW 103 (2019), with some differences, including the text colour and the addition of trees in the middleground.

Its track list has also been made available on iTunes/Apple Music, where it is also revealed that it will be out on Friday, 01 May 2020. Here is the track list:

01. Lizzo - "Good as Hell"

02. Tones and I - "Dance Monkey"

03. The Weeknd - "Blinding Lights"

04. Arizona Zervas - "ROXANNE"

05. DaBaby - "BOP"

06. Justin Bieber - "Yummy"

07. Khalid & Disclosure - "Know Your Worth"

08. Ed Sheeran feat. Camila Cabello & Cardi B - "South of the Border"

09. Billie Eilish - "everything i wanted"

10. blackbear - "Hot Girl Bummer"

11. Selena Gomez - "Rare"

12. Camila Cabello feat. DaBaby - "My Oh My"

13. Doja Cat - "Say So"

14. Trevor Daniel - "Falling"

15. H.E.R. - "Sometimes"

16. Maren Morris - "The Bones"

NOW What's Next Bonus Tracks

17. Brett James - "True Believer"

18. PUBLIC - "Make You Mine"

19. Isaac Dunbar - "Makeup Drawer"

20. Evie Irie - "Over Him"

21. Little Hurt - "Alaska"

22. Surfaces - "Sunday Best"

Album's total running time is 1:10:04, which leaves 9:53 of empty space. Maybe it's just me, but it has slowly become a pet peeve of mine that they are leaving some precious empty space in the CD when it could've been easily filled up with more songs.

Shoutout to Spiral, as Lizzo is finally in a US numbered NOW album! "Good as Hell", along with "Dance Monkey", previously appeared in UK's NOW 104 (2019). I could see that most of the main tracks could also appear in the upcoming NOW 105.

I have heard most of the songs here, including "Sunday Best", though I am yet to grow on that; same goes with "Falling". Based on that alone, I think it's gonna be a very good summer NOW album, if the exclusions of the likes of Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Demi Lovato, and 5 Seconds of Summer are not a problem.

What do you guys think of NOW 74's track list? Do you think it provides a taste of what's to come on NOW 105?

The UK NOW team's just confirmed the 8 May 2020 release date of NOW 105, making it the first numbered UK NOW album to be released in the month of May.

Track list not out yet, though. Fingers crossed.

Do the 1's always look like that? It looks squashed

They’ve looked like that since NOW 101

The UK NOW team's just confirmed the 8 May 2020 release date of NOW 105, making it the first numbered UK NOW album to be released in the month of May.

It is the first NOW to be released in May and the second Spring NOW to be released after Easter, the first being NOW 17 in 1990

Very impressed with that tracklist! 13 of those are top 40 hits on Billboard, likely to be 14 if 'Sunday Best' takes off...usually we're lucky to get 8 or 9!

Shoutout to Spiral, as Lizzo is finally in a US numbered NOW album!
You must have forgot that 'Juice' was on NOW 71 :P

Pardon my mistake. While its cover art is quite colourful, I kinda find NOW 71 forgettable, but I admit, it does have some great tunes at the time of its release that matches its attractive cover art. I even said this when I posted its track list in Buzzjack's NOW 4.0 forum.

From the outset, it's a decent, but fun selection.
Jesus that second disc is shocking in every possible way
I wonder why Run Through Walls is on here but The Last Time wasn't on 104 despite being an actual charting song?
