Just seen the new NOW 7 tracklist on the NOW website and only David Bowie, The Real Roxanne and Patti LaBelle & Michael McDonald have been removed. Also, Queen will be on there as they were only on selected copies of NOW 7

They’re losing more as they go along though which is irritating.

I agree. I wonder why the vinyl versions never lose value when the CD versions get released. I thought Pet Shop Boys would've got removed as they've hardly been on any compilations lately

I wondered the same. Surprised they’ve not made an appearance on the Legends album if they’re licensing to Now 7.

The only song of theirs that they seem happy to give out is It Doesn’t Often Snow At Christmas, which appears on various budget compilations.

Seeing as PSB haven’t been removed from the NOW 7 CD, they’ll more likely remain on the NOW 8 CD too

Same old, same old on the 60's No.1's. Tracks that I have on many other 60's CD's.

Three removals is a lot. Not buying this one.

Better off sticking to the vinyls. The CD is only good for the mp3s. On the other hand, one question is which Little Mix song will we be getting on NOW 107 now that "Sweet Melody" has gone top 10? I have a feeling they’ll skip "Holiday" in favour of SM or they’ll include both or save SM for NOW 108

Edited by Hadji

I can see them including both songs on 107, remember we had double Little Mix on Now’s 87 (Move and Word Up!) and 97 (Power and No More Sad Songs), so you may see a pattern continuing with another volume ending in “7” this time around too!

Then again saying that, Dua Lipa also has two songs contending for 107: Hallucinate and Levitating. On that one, I think the latter will more likely appear and the former will miss out. It would also make sense to include the DaBaby remix as that’s what sent it into the top 20

Here’s my traditional attempt to predict/suggest a tracklisting for the next volume, in this case, Now 107;

Here's my predicted tracklist now updated with the new releases

Edited by Hadji

Same old, same old on the 60's No.1's. Tracks that I have on many other 60's CD's.

It’s worth buying just for Do It Again by the Beach Boys. The last compilation I remember it being on was NOW The Summer Album from 1986

Let's hope NOW 107 and NOW 7 doesn't get postponed again since there could be another lockdown in England starting next week.

We were technically in lockdown when NOW 105 and NOW 5 were released and they shouldn’t postpone it this time as it’s nearing Xmas and also, the lockdown will only effect England, not Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

We're currently in lockdown here in Wales for 2 weeks. It started last Friday and ends November 9th.

Going by lockdown rules, supermarkets in England are allowed to sell anything which includes entertainment products

I can't see these being postponed, it's cutting it a bit fine to put them out on 4 December, which is the first Friday after the lockdown (supposedly) ends. Most people will just start their Xmas shopping online or do it in the supermarkets.

I get why they postponed Now 105 as we were in the thick of a much stricter lockdown and supply chains were messed up, but supermarkets will be used to it by this point and, as Hadji says, we've not been told we can't buy non-essential goods in them this time.
