Also thanks Hadji for doing that yesterday, I didn’t realise as many were complete so that’s something I guess.

Do we think they will continue to re-release beyond Now 10 or is this where it ends?

Hopefully it ends at NOW 10

According to Amazon, NOW Yearbook Extra 1983 is due for release on 10th December. Instead of doing that, they should do NOW Yearbook 1985 instead
What a curious release, not sure that'll be much of a seller for them. It was a strong year for sure but most of the biggest hits were featured already on the original album so they'll be moving into 'deep cut' territory with that presumably.

An interesting announcement...

Given the omissions on the Now '83 Yearbook release, I previously made a personal "Disc 5" of tracks that missed the cut from 1983;

1. Michael Jackson – Billie Jean

2. David Bowie – Let’s Dance

3. Wham! – Bad Boys

4. New Edition – Candy Girl

5. Bananarama – Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye

6. Eurythmics – Who’s That Girl?

7. Tracey Ullman – Breakaway

8. F.R. David – Words

9. Rod Stewart – Baby Jane

10. Slade – My Oh My

11. Black Lace – Superman

12. Bucks Fizz – When We We’re Young

13. Bob Marley & The Wailers – Buffalo Soldier

14. Eddy Grant – Electric Avenue

15. Madness – The Sun And The Rain

16. Yazoo – Nobody’s Diary

17. The Style Council – Speak Like A Child

18. Depeche Mode – Everything Counts

19. Tears For Fears – Change

20. Elton John – I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues

I would imagine many of these were licensing issues, but if some can appear on this "Extra" volume, that would be nice, though I'd rather they just released it as one product and not made us have to buy two. :(

They just published the tracklisting and 7 of those feature I think.

Quite a curious selection, certainly some hits there but also songs that i doubt many would miss.

So this is what 1983 will be most remembered for then when it comes to what was released.

Pity that the following hits couldn’t make it due to licensing issues;

Michael Jackson – Billie Jean

David Bowie – Let’s Dance

Wham! – Bad Boys

New Edition – Candy Girl

Bananarama – Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye

F.R. David – Words

Rod Stewart – Baby Jane

Black Lace – Superman

Bob Marley & The Wailers – Buffalo Soldier

Eddy Grant – Electric Avenue

Yazoo – Nobody’s Diary

Depeche Mode – Everything Counts

Also looking at the Now 1983 Anniversary and Millennium releases, there were also some of these songs missing;

1982 that’s why.

Thing was when it appeared on the 10th anniversary edition, it appeared on 1983 due to it being the first #1 in 1983 but on the millennium series, it appeared on 1982

According to iTunes, the LM song on NOW 110 is 3:02 so it’s looking likely to be "No"

Kenny Everett's Snot Rap last time that was on CD was Cheggers Choice (1999)

Everytime that "Livin' On A Prayer" appears on a spin-off, they’re always using the NOW 9 edit from now on. Also, I’ve noticed that Heart are on the new NOW Rock album so why remove them from NOW 10?

Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since I last posted here.

Just informing y'all that the Amazon product link for NOW 110 shows, through the product description and updated back cover artwork, that CD 1 Track 5 is officially confirmed as "No" by Little Mix, the second official single off the girls' greatest hits album, "Between Us".

Edit: Typo error in the URL.

I figured it out last week when it was first available to pre-order on iTunes when I saw that TBC was 3:02

There’s also enough space on disc 2 for another track even with the full version of "Seventeen Going Under"

Wondered how long this post would take. Can we not be happy with 25 tracks? That's a lot.

There have never been so many tracks on a Now album. It’s a shame the majority of them are mediocre. Wasted disc space may have once been an issue but it isn’t anymore.
I reckon they could’ve squeezed Shouse onto disc 2 even with the full version of SGU. Oh well, let’s hope he’s on 111 next year
