August 1, 20195 yr It had a largely positive reception here upon release, I looked back at the Kiss Me Once thread and it was only you and slowdown73 who were overwhelmingly negative during release week :kink:

August 1, 20195 yr Yeah the album did get pretty decent reviews by critics upon release. It's why I think it's more the era itself that has affected the enjoyment of the album.
August 1, 20195 yr I remember KMO getting positive reviews all round at the time so not sure why it became such a hated album, I loved the KMO tour too. Maybe it’s commercial performance and Kylie distancing herself from it caused the backlash?
August 1, 20195 yr On first listen i thought it was ok but would need time but as time went on I got to like it less.
August 2, 20195 yr With Kiss Me Once now approaching 90k, i wonder can it eventually get to 100k and get gold certification. I may not be a fan of the album but i am a fan of Kylie and like to see her achieve sales and certifications.
