Frustrating with the cancellation of the Graham Norton show. Shame it hasn't translated into a big chart hit.

Played this at work, never seen 6 happier gays and a confused straight man. Great management tip, does what it says on the tin, play this song for instant staff Motivation.

A remix featuring 21 Savage will be out tomorrow.

What were we all dying for!

When I first heard this I instantly thought BuzzJack fave what’ll peak at like #85 or something so for it to go top 40 and stay there for a good while was a success in my opinion.

"Fine" is great in terms of getting her name out there as a soloist and being a decent chart smash etc..

But it deserved FAR better and far more. </3

This deserved to smash big time but I didn't even think it would do as well as it did tbh. I agree with Cameron that it has set her up nicely for her next single - let's hope she delivers!

This did fine.. it set her up nicely for 2020.

Hmm. Considering this was clearly meant to be her big breakout moment I'm not sure what another single is going to do. She spent about eighteen months building up a presence, featuring on Love Lies and Dancing With A Stranger and clearly there was alot of effort into launching her as a solo star with the video for Motivation and the VMA performance so it's chart performance is a huge let down.

I'd say, if anything, it haltered any momentum she built up previously. And the longer she leaves it between singles - it's already been four months since Motivation - the harder she makes it for herself.

I think the problem was literally after the VMA performance everything just went quiet . There should have been more promo more performances of the song and more of a continuous push all round . They wasted the momentum that was there . Hopefully they’ve learnt from that mistake for the next single . Either way it did a good thing of getting her name out there and a top 40 single in both the US and UK for a new artist and first official solo single is not a bad thing at all .

Motivation was one of my favourite tracks of 2019. I wonder she's coming back with it? I hate this silence from her. She needs to engage with her fans more if she wants to make it tbh.

It would take a mega smash and a low key miracle for her to get another hit without having another artist who’s bigger than her on the track.

But yeah corona situation will delay it even more. Normani can’t sell a track on name alone she needs promo and playlists to help her.

I'm still really shocked that this wasn't bigger in terms of the chart sand sales. Almost everyone seemed to know it, the song and the video were pretty well discussed and well received, and I feel like I heard it out and about quite a lot
