August 28, 20195 yr 1. Born This Way 2. The Fame Monster 3. A Star Is Born 4. The Fame 5. Joanne 6. ARTPOP 7. Cheek to Cheek That’s right! (My thoughts In reverse order) 7. Cheek to Cheek I rarely listen too love her vocals on it but not too much my style and hearing Gaga do like no original material feels odd as she’s such an established writer. 6. ARTPOP is my least favourite of her solo album and my least favourite original material album. Her worst album vocally doesn’t do too much to show off her voice. And it’s kinda too overworked. The original versions of many of the songs we heard were better than the album versions. 5. Joanne. A vast improvement on ARTPOP and it really showed off her voice. I loved how she stripped everything back this era and done something natural to her. 4. The Fame. A classic debut. Packed with personality and promise. Only snag is it’s a bit too long cut three or four tracks off and it could’ve challenged for #3. 3. A Star Is Born. Vocally her best album. Lyrically amongst her best too. Loved the pop numbers as well as the more piano inspired tracks too. A real return for her. Joanne was a taste of what she was ready to show the world but it was executed better on this. The duets on this too are also the best duets she’s ever done. So authentic. 2. The Fame Monster. Her most iconic. Short but so sweet. Not a single duffer on there. A timeless record. And one of my all time favourite albums. 1. Born This Way. YES!! I resonated with so much of this discovering myself and I still love it. One of my very favourite all time albums (I think it’s my second fave ever behind Christina’s Stripped). Her most daring album for me. It’s bold, at times controversial, it’s experimental and just so Gaga. Vocally there’s some real highlights on there too, production wise I love it. Gaga did THAT. August 29, 20195 yr TFM has an advantage of being an EP so it's not 100% FAIR but it's by far her most cohesive work and also the highest quality. Never tired of it. :heart:
