Except they can't get No Deal through without Boris Johnson breaking the law. I suspect the majority of people would rather take their chances, as I don't believe he would do that. And if he does, well then he's more of an idiot than I already think he is.

Read my above long post. There's a flaw in Benn's bill so all Boris has to do is prorogue again so they can't now amend it.

And what's the basis for prolonging Parliment? There isn't one unless his Ministers are willing to go to prison for him through lying to the Queen  He does that, he kills the Conservative Party as we know it today.

He was able to hide his proroguing of parliament behind a feeble lie last time, he can’t use the same excuse again and ‘running out the Brexit clock’ isn’t a good enough excuse.

I have a question. Does a British PM have to obey a Scottish court or can he get round it by saying no action's been taken in an English court? Just a sudden thought that's struck me. Maybe too much cider today. :o

I mean if a Scotsman took out an injunction against me, an Englishman, does it still apply in law?

I'm sure he or his lawyers can find one. He repeated in Yorkshire last week that we're leaving Thursday 31st Oct, no ifs no buts no excuses, no extensions. I heard him tell a man, think it was in Sheffield, on Sky News.

he also told the country we would give the NHS an extra £350m a week!

bet he didn't tell you how many times he got told to 'f*** off out of Yorkshire' as well during his visit!

Oh I heard about that. I was born in Yorkshire. They speak their mind but most are a bit thick too, apart from me that is.

DELETED. Double post.

No, us Brexiteers would cause champagne sales to soar that week.

A french drink?!? How ironic!

Chris, did you read the Yellowhammer document?

Yes, most of it and No Deal doesn't sound half as bad as Remoaners make out.

A french drink?!? How ironic!

Can't usually afford it but would for that day. :w00t:

From Yellowhamer: “Low income groups will be disproportionately affected by any price rises in food and fuel”

I think price rises would be minimal though and anyway, don't prices rise every year, fuel, food, drink etc?

They say the first few days we wouldn't notice anything anyway. The sun would still rise and I'd be still here posting on Buzzjack.

Is there an art to sounding like a moron or is it natural?

Once Britain leaves the EU, the UK is no longer bound by the EU's standards that Champagne needs to come from the Champagne region of France, so sparkling wine that has been made in Piddlington-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds could be called "Champagne" with impunity.

Chris has been on the vino and it's blindinly obvious that he obviously has no clue about anything. He wants out which is fair enough.

Every single person with half an ounce of a brain knows No Deal is a terrible idea.

Chris your best friend thinks you are a drain on society. We´ve been through this already.

Brexit will be everywhere around us for years to come regardless of what happens on October 31st. Especially if we crash out with no Deal as great time and effort will then have to be taken to negotiate trade deals around the world(we will be at a DISADVANTAGE in ALL of those negotiations because we will be the ones that NEED them) which will take several years to complete at least whilst the country goes through economic turmoil.
