But we *won't* be stopping immigration from the EU, even in a No Deal scenario.

I didn't say that did I? Read my post again.

Grow up.

Pardon? Are you saying people don't go missing once they get here as a visitor? We know several Filipinos who are under the radar, cash in hand jobs as they've overstayed their visas. There must be hundreds in London.

If they are unable to support themselves, it would be difficult to go "under the radar" for long.

You're too smart to say it in so many words, but IMO the implication was there...

Well clearly the implication wasn't there as I didn't say it.

Whatever you've picked up on you're barking up the wrong tree.

Stop trying to be contrary just for the sake of it.

Shhh! This inconvenient fact doesn't fit in with Chris' view!

Clearly my points showed the actual laws in terms of housing eligibility that I have to follow but clearly 'free movement' will mean there will be more people with the 'right' to come to the UK. As Rooney said this would lead to a boom in the PRS which it would but it would also lead to more of a free for all and people living in awful overcrowded conditions plus other problems on top of that.

And who has limited the building of public sector house building? Is it

a) the EU;

b) successive UK governments?

A clue - it isn’t a.

Oh absolutely I'm not arguing that just stating the facts.

I've got everything crossed that there'll be a deal and we can get it passed in the Commons and be out on 31st. COME ON GUYS GET IT DONE AND US OUT.

No news from the Johnson- Varadkar lunch yet but this has been suggested by Sky.

NI only backstop (CU + SM alignment) with option to withdraw by 2/3 majority of Stormont and binding motion in Westminster. Satisfies ROI, all NI parties bar DUP.

Loses DUP and some ERG votes but may pass Commons with a lot of luck and persuasion..

It won't as no one voted for that brexshit. What was on offer was a Norway model. Present it.

Would you be happy if we left with a deal on 31st?

I know you don't want us to leave at all but it's better than leaving with no deal.

Nope.

Rescind or Norway model vs remain in a second referendum. That is all the mandate you have.

Katie Hopkins and Julia Hartley Brewer reportedly on Question Time tonight.

Causing a Twitter storm as far right Hartley-Brewer reportedly put Jo Maugham's address on Twitter.

There's no way on earth the BBC can put them both on at once??

If we absolutely must make the catastrophic mistake to leave, then it has to be with a deal. They only have a mandate to leave under EEA/EFTA terms from the referendum. No deal is not something there is a mandate for and is too deeply damaging to the country
