I genuinely think NRO is a career highlight purely based on song quality! The chorus is so clever and one of her most catchy.

I mean people are welcome to their own opinions on NRO but "lifeless" it is not! It's a big favourite of mine too, a definite top 5 contender in terms of my fave Katy songs (and most of my other top 5 contenders are out LMAO)

It's really not just "BJ", that holds it in high opinion.

Just saying that CTTR was critically acclaimed too, just check the song's wikipedia page. NRO is nothing special in that sense although it can be seen as a "return of old Katy".

And because it was her trying to return to form, fans just assume it is better than it really is. It's the same with Britney's Womaniser.
