I knew Big Racks was a risky entry, especially as it's so R&B leaning.

well that last reveal was a jawdropper! Totally expecting Niceland to get through, and not Lene! There was always going to be some "what?!" DNQ's in such a strong semi.....but The Makemakes are currently in the top 60 itunes and it is fab! In the non-BJ world it would seem to be the fave :o

 

I loved not doing the DNQ's, much less stressful, thanks Lewww! Thanks for the congrats dandy, Suedey, Rollo and anyone who voted for Bird Song. I adore it's kooky OTT-ness :) That's a ray of sunshine in my got-a-stinking-cold-up-half-the-night morning :lol:

I thought this Bree Runway song was better than 'What Do I Tell My Friends?', can see why it wouldn't be as big a hit as that was but really not sure why it did THIS badly. D:

A few of the longer qualification streaks fall this time, most notably St. Burbia who miss out after 17 straight finals, but also Quintessa and Skall who have their first DNQs of the year. Aeroche (with yet another AQ) and Cor Lupus remain unphased and stay at joint #1 now going into their 31st consecutive finals, with their closest rival now being FARC on 16 in a row. Those three all further expand their existing records as do Thelonia to 11 (12 ignoring the one contest gap), Dobago to 9, Oslol to 8 and Lotunia to 7. Flynnonda set a new record as they make it to 3 finals in a row for the first time after stalling at 2 twice before. Arcodesia and Brechtoria both match their records as they reach a second final in a row each (the latter by default with their AQ), Arcodesia previously doubled up in BJSCs 109 & 110 (their only previous qualifiers) and Brechtoria did so in BJSCs 87 & 88. Unovia's broken run of 15 entries in a row qualifying surpasses their consecutive contests record of 14, and matches their previous record while ignoring breaks from the contest (in BJSCs 81 & 83-96).
