Doesn't look like Royal variety is on the promo list

 

Robbie and Rod are topping the bill.

It is disappointing that Kylie is not appearing but i don't relate to the Royal Variety as a huge show.

I'm sure it gets like 4 or 5 million in the ratings which is a similar amount to Graham Norton or X Factor.

It doesn't appear to have the same sales impact on album as that of the shows you mention.

She was never going to get all the slots but since is better than none.

All promotional activities will help with sales.

The Q4 promotion usually equates to a higher sales increase.

Overall, with promotional activities and casual sales has anyone set any expectations for what the album could sell in the busy period ahead.

I don’t think it will sell more than 50k. It might only sell a similar amount to the reissue of Kylie Christmas which was about 30k. I’d expect it to sell just over 100k in total with the current sales. I think the reissue will only be bought by hardcore fans and get somewhat lost in the Christmas market.

Many of the hardcore fans will purchase the new edition on release day/week.

The promotion Kylie has lined up will encourage casual sales for which many wont even know the cd 3 repackage is new.

They will view the track listing and pick it up and it is likely cd 3 would not influence the buyer.

Price would be what will help them decide which version to purchase.

Another 50k would be good as that would put the album close to 130k and it will sell in small numbers for a long time.

Dont know what my expectations are for the megamix but I think il either love it or hate it and no inbetween.

i love a good 45 min megamix for the gym. perfect for commutes haha

If it's good a non stop remix is good as it's like a super long non stop megamix.
