No stranger to our medal positions though due to the old bloc voting algorithm which malfunctioned last month but is now fixed, it's 15 points to our wonderful and lovely host nation Jadakissnia with an equally wonderful and lovely James Blake esque entry :cheer: rumour has it this Active Child song actually first made its rounds in the nation of the Bellsprout via some imported 7"s coming out of Persephonia :thinking: which were in turn smuggled in from Skall so no surprise that it's near the top of our votes, the second 15 we've given to Jadakissnia this year and the 15th time in all they've ranked in our top 3. Completing our top 3 is a nation on fine form of late, it's 13 points to Espen with a spooktacular Russian witch house cut which has stood out more and more as time has gone by, second time they've been in our medal positions this year following the 18 to Sho Madjozi and their 10th medal position from us in total to date. The biggest grower of the month, hopping up from just 4 points to 12 on our final national listenthrough, it's the first points we've given in a final to Wholune with an addictive and catchy pop rock tune. 11 points go to the iconic viral Mongolian throat singing metal track (need we say any more why we voted for it xx) from Beaverdonia and 10 points to the best retro dance entry from Bøtanikkä in quite a while (their first points from us since BJSC 107). Making a reappearance after an even longer wait is Ultraviolenceland who pick up 9 points with their lovely Lana Del Rey/Chris Isaak hybrid soundalike, their first points since we gave 8 to Liv Dawson in BJSC 88 which was also the previous highest points we'd ever given to them. Another nation making a comeback to our votes, 8 points go to Summericia with a Kraftwerk sampling retro electronic bop, miles better than their last couple of entries and our first points to them since BJSC 102. And then yet another comeback, as well as Jadakissnia the other auto-qualifier also gets points from us, it's 7 points to The Actual Republic of Bellamia with a semi-spoopy Troye Sivan-alike which is their first points from us since BJSC 92 and the first time they've ranked in our top 10 of a final since our 10 points (2nd place) to tyDi way back in BJSC 57! This is the second highest we've ever ranked one of their entries, oh my. Completing the top 10, 6 points go to a catchy but srs toe-tapper from Trifoski who have had a bit of a shorter wait since last getting points from us. Our points have slowed down considerably all of a sudden, with those snubs and 1 from Scherzland (much appreciated though, yay!) but the lead we were building up is too strong to be stopped so far. But can this last much longer? Both Vülkyria and Summericia are out for blood as they also pass 100 points now! Espen are massively helped out this time, with a full 18 from Terra Avium and a fellow double-figure score from Scherzland. They enter the top 10, as do Arcodesia following a healthy boost from the Terra votes. Scherzland give their 18 to République d'Áskorza which lifts them to just outside the top 20. Scherzland helped out quite a few struggling songs and the last placer has changed as a result! Poor Kylienips.
