Song of the southern hemisphere summer coming etc. :cheeseblock: Also just realised I never posted about the other MOTOMAMI+ tracks here yet - thought all of them were at least solid additions to the album, 'AISLAMIENTO' was my fave, the production on that is :wub: and 'LA KILIÉ' was a banger too. 'LAX' really deserved to be at least a minute longer but it's really good for how short it is, packs a satisfying build into 90 seconds! 'CHIRI' is the least essential for me, probably my overall least fave song on the album (out of the ones that are over a minute long at least :kink:) but it's still not a miss. (The 'CANDY' remix was whatever but that doesn't count when we still have the original xx And I still haven't actually listened to the random live version of 'LA FAMA' oops, will get to it eventually)

December 16, 20222 yr I saw her a couple of weeks ago in Berlin and she was absolutely amazing. So disappointing though to see most people only bop to Motomami and being barely there for a couple of El Mal Querer songs she played. I was LIVING.

December 16, 20222 yr Thanks Bjork! She was a superstar <3 her live vocals are up there with some of the best I've ever heard and those 'MOTOMAMI' instrumentals were made to boom through arenas! I've made no secret of how much I adore 'Dolerme' so it was a complete moment for me when she sang that :wub: I hadn't seen any set-list spoilers, but I noticed that the artwork for that song was on a piece of merch at the stand so I did think it would be coming up at some point, but was still not prepared for how gorgeous it would be. I thought the set-list was pretty stacked, 'MOTOMAMI' (and deluxe!) heavy as expected but also a few 'El Mal Querer' songs as Pavel mentioned and some droplets, features and covers too. There were a few celebrities watching the show as well! Dua Lipa, Robert Pattinson, Suki Waterhouse etc *.*

I was frequently checking the Metacritic year to date list for the rest of the year to check if 'MOTOMAMI' was still at #1 :lol: Ended the year with only 5 albums having a score of 90 or higher - ROSALÍA on 94, Nova Twins and Black Country, New Road on 92, Beyoncé 91 and SZA 90. Can't argue much with any of those, though I'm not as big a fan of Nova Twins as I am of the others. Yass at her grabbing at least 1 of her 2 Grammy nominations too, as much as we don't curr about the Scammys x
