I’m actually quite shocked they are still getting support usually girlbands have a shelf life so even if sales end up being slower than the bigger era’s they’ve done so well to still be getting streaming and sales.

 

Break Up Song is definitely in my top 3, it’s by far one of the best.

To be fair, most groups seem to break up over ridiculous things and just be drama central, girl groups of course being especially notorious for this sort of thing. I can't really think of a girl group that's managed to stay together for nine years straight without changing members. They've at least been smart enough to realise that solo careers rarely happen for more than an album or two so they might be smart enough not to just break up.

Capital played it because Jade was a guest (again) on the Breakfast Show, so jury’s still out on whether they’re actually supporting it. It really shouldn’t be this difficult for an act of their standing to secure airplay.

Agreed. Capital's treatment of them is irritating af.

I really wanted it to stay top 5, I HATE that Lonely song! Fingers crossed it stays top 10 at least.

Im hoping it at least peaks within the top 5. Its definitely their best single since the GD era.

This song really does feel like such a return to form, I'm properly loving it.

 

Also looks guaranteed for a top 10 debut, which is quite impressive. It feels like there's been no real hype around it (or maybe that 'Bounce Back' stole/killed any hype?).

Its holding up pretty well. Thinking it might rise a few places tomorrow due to it getting put a few spots higher on HH.

Sunday streams are always bad for new releases, it should climb tomorrow. It's holding well on Apple Music at #15.

Sorry but the contrast in Jade/Leigh's work ethic and enthusiasm next to Perrie/Jesy is hilarious.

 

The first pair are ALWAYS doing media and promoting the brand (just this last month they had that interview in Brazil plus did the meet and greet while Jesy didn't) and then they were both on This Morning today as well, plus seem to be the most involved in terms of songwriting and pushing Wasabi and doing the video for it.

 

I love all four and it's no shade to the other two because they're entitled to do what they want in their free time but it's definitely blatantly obvious there's a divide in effort. :lol:

I have to stop following Apple Music as it updates hourly so again today I was excited about it being #14 but then it went back to #16 and probably soon to #17. It's a rollercoaster. :cry:
