Atleast its stable! Hoping it rises in tomorrows update with the new HH placement.

Just a forewarn. Dua Lipa - Physical moved from 14 - 9 on HHUK, but on the Saturday update it didn't move but on the Sunday update on Spotify charts it went 21 - 16. Likely due to New Music Friday having an impact. So hopefully we'll start seeing notable movements from Sunday onwards.

I'm stunned that they would have been #17 had Times Like These by Radio 1's Live Lounge had a traditional Friday release! Incredible hold.
I’m very chuffed with the update in the chart today 😊

The Steve Void remix pops off a bit, huh? LOVE the pre-chorus.

Fantastic to see this remaining stable. It may not be a massive smash like their previous leads, but the circumstances are immensely different and it's a nice little course correction after the previous misfires. My main concern was it bombing out the charts and impacting airplay/playlisting for the subsequent singles, so it's nice that it's shaping up to be a cute hit to kick off the era. That said, I really hope they go all out with the promo on single 2 to compensate.

Amazing! Thank you for the update! :wub: (I was literally about to post them aha)

Incredibly stable sales wise :o

Looking at the sales listed, they were really quite lucky it was a low sales week when they released. Could they achieve their highest weekly sale soon? Seems like they could be looking at another rise this week, I think.

Some v interesting info atm... 59p could actually be a lot more beneficial next week because...

These songs (which are ABOVE LM this week) are on ACR from next week IF they decline again this week...

Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now {8}

Dua Lipa - Physical {6}

Joel Corry - Lonely {10}

Justin Bieber feat. Quavo - Intentions {15}

Mabel - Boyfriend {14}

SAINt JHN - Roses {3}

The Weeknd - Blinding Lights {2}

So... we need to keep our fingers crossed that they all decrease in streams.

What is "ACR"?

What is ACR and when does it happen?

To help freshen the chart the OCC introduced the 'accelerated chart ratio' (ACR). This affects the ratio at which its streams are converted into sales. After a song has been in the chart for at least nine weeks, and has been in decline for three weeks in a row, its streaming points are effectively cut in half (its premium ratio will decrease from 1:100 to 1:200, and its ad-funded ratio likewise from 1:600 to 1:1200). A song can therefore be on ACR as early as week ten (though any song older than 3 years is automatically on ACR permanently, regardless of how long it has spent in the chart). A song not on ACR is considered to be on SCR ('standard chart ratio'). This rule has been in place since W/E 13/07/17.

Btw, that doesn't mean LM will climb above them necessarily, just that they're likely to have big drops and LM are in a key position to be bolstered, if they play it right! I think Blinding Lights, Roses & Physical may stay ahead of them, but the rest have a chance of falling below.
Its number 1 on the Girls' Night playlist (2.1M followers) Will this have a good impact or not?

That can't possibly be bad.

I've had Spotify for years and I've never 'followed' a playlist or even played one. I'm always surprised so many people do it. :lol:

I think if they get the video / 59p and slightly higher playlisting next week (Surely R1 will A list too) when a load of songs are going on ACR they could actually get to the 8 - 12 area on the chart. I think 16/17 for this coming Friday?

Yeah I'm looking forward to see how much it can take advantage of the massive clear out, on top of the extra campaigning. Returning to the Top 10 would be fantastic!

Down to 38 on Spotify, but with 7 new entries above, so its increased a couple of places technically, as Jonjo said, its more likely to climb tomorrow rather than today anyway
