Apparently a few of the songs that were meant to hit ACR this week have increased in sales otherwise they'd have probably fallen behind Break Up Song. :lol:

 

Hoping for a climb on Spotify, waiting for the update...

Jade just revealed the music video is coming within a week or so!

I'm not expecting it to climb on Spotify... It had less streams than yesterday.

Sales is fine. It's if they increase in streams I think? :unsure: (but even then I have a feelong majority of them have also increased their streams. Well LM have and they're lower than they were last week officially soo... lmao

Jade also said the second single is ready to go, i really hope they pull it out of the bag with this one...After they couldnt promote this (for obvious reasons) Im really hoping things are better for this single and they dont release too soon.

Yeah I hope they're not even considering its release before the quarantine's over, let Break Up Song die considering it's been a slow burner and then release it. Even if it didn't become a smash, I believe it'll help them perform better with the next one if they're allowed a proper campaign.

 

If they managed #9 after a Think About Us - Bounce Back - One I've Been Missing string, I don't see why not.

 

I remember they had said the second single was a chill summery bop, let's see how that goes for them. I can't think of a single of theirs that fit that description, maybe No More Sad Songs? She mentioned MNEK has done a remix of the second single and sent it to her and she's really excited about it!

I think BUS is doing more than fine at the moment, Spotify is really annoying but It’s spent 4/5 weeks in the top 20 which isn’t too bad at all.

 

I’m sure the video and a bit of extra home promo will help it too.

 

I’m just praying it manages to be another gold single for them.

Everything's a bit insane there this week for the female brits aside from Dua. Becky and Mabel have fallen quite a bit too.

The Spotify chart looks horrendous for pop. May as well be looking at US Spotify.

Streams are abysmal atm. The Weeknd is at #1 with 350k... people are clearly not bothered about listening to music right now.

 

We need the good weather back, as that was helping the girls out LOADS on Spotify. People were listening to the playlists whilst having BBQ's/relaxing in their gardens it seems.

 

Like I said though, as crap as Spotify is atm, I'm really not as concerned as I should be as it's obviously having minimal impact on the songs chart success.

Definitely! Not worried either because most of the songs ahead are actually doing terribly on other platforms...Boss Bitch for instance is 57 on Apple.

 

Plus next week I’m sure there’s loads of songs heading for ACR so hopefully this will push them up even further by default.

It must be reacting well on Hot Hits (from the minimal listeners that are listening). I think I saw somewhere that if a song is being played then it helps their playlisting or something, but if people are skipping, it's moved down etc..

 

But I might have made that up in my head :lol:

The support her song has on Spotify (and radio) is INSANE and it still ‘only’ went top ten.

Mabel is queen of payola.

 

 

Yeah, it seems little mix really needed a bit more support outside of hot hits. No big international playlists has massively hindered them. U.K. only acts often struggle on steaming. They used to be big enough internationally to get support outside of just Hot Hits U.K.
