I wonder where I can see it :-) despite I have BBC television here in the Netherlands the red button does not help here

There's a few on Youtube Elisabeth.

If it's any consolation I can't see it on the Red Button only. I can only hear audio.

The album seems to be dropping on the Amazon sales chart with Coldplay still at one, on offer at £6.99 and Rod Stewart at 2.

My dream is to see him in a lovely suit. No glitter. ;)

He did say on a pod cast that he is going to shave his hair off the day after promo finishes. This makes me happy. ^_^

Anyway - Buzzjack is so slow at the minute I feel like I'm watching paint dry - I'll be back later when it's speeded up a bit. I couldn't get on at all last night. xx

I just had a sneaky peak on UK iTunes and saw he was number 2 and Coldplay number 3.

That's the first time I've seen him ahead of Coldplay on any chart including the pre-orders since the album was announced. B-)

The track Yeah! It's Christmas.

I was convinced this was an old early 1960s song (although the Bob and Betty lyric aroused my suspicions. ^_^

I just checked to see he wrote it. Such a clever song.

So many songs on this album that I love and how he has seamlessly mixed in his new lyrics with the old classics. That man is truly a chameleon.

It is interesting to follow twitter in the moment regarding Rob. He is so polarizing between totally ugly remarks which make me shudder (including 'may he had better died instead of Robin Williams') to unconditional love.

One side he is crap, one side he is the best of the best.

mymymy.

I watched the original video of one of my most loved Rob songs yesterday 'come undone'.

He came a very long way since then. Sometimes I really miss this bad boy. Then I know that he might be dead indeed if he had continued like this.

Anyway, he is working hard for the promo of this album. This week the German promo will set in and as the Dutch people also look German TV we will see more of Rob here. I hope that he will achieve a number one in Austria, Germany Switzerland in the next weeks and so hope he will also have a number one in the UK.

AllMusic Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine

It cannot be said that Robbie Williams is a Scrooge with his holiday album, The Christmas Present. In its deluxe edition -- which is the only edition available upon its initial 2019 release -- The Christmas Present is a double album, divided into a disc chronicling "The Christmas Past" on one disc and "The Christmas Future" on the other, thereby turning the record's title into a double-edged pun. The Christmas Past disc is devoted to shopworn seasonal standards, supplemented by a handful of newer tunes written in the same ornate fashion. The Christmas Future finds Robbie loosening his tie and shaking off the strings, splitting his time between sincere ballads and impish novelties. Naturally, The Christmas Future is livelier than The Past, with Williams camping it up with Tyson Fury on the naughty "Bad Sharon" and then happily tweaking both sides of the political aisle with "Snowflakes." Williams may like to act like a bad boy, but at his heart he's a sentimental cornball and, ultimately, he winds up making mawkishness seem merry on The Christmas Present.

I think at least he can be a bad boy in his videoclips.

THES boxing, Party Like a Russian (which almost nobody like it, unfortunately), I Just Want People....

So, I don't agree that we lost him as a bad boy. He is just jumping from one form to another and it's better for him nowadays.
