His Poppa can't sing can he? :D

Iv'e always said that , I doubt anyone is going to mention it to Robbie though

He sang a Joe Dolan tribute song on the Late Late show one night & totally destroyed it, he was completely out of tune :P I am sure Joe turned in his grave

Who else but Robbie would mention Justin Bieber & Merchandise in a song about Jesus :o

Love this tune actually ...

On Walk This Sleigh - it was "Happy birthday Jesus Christ, here's the Spice Girls merchandise."

Glad he's updated it for 2019.

So today he was at the Magic FM gig at The Palladium.

He's got the Ally Pally gig on Tuesday that will be shown on ITV Sunday 8th December.

I've no idea about other artists future album release dates - I wonder if he will be able to get this album to UK number one?

Time will tell.

Absolutely loving the album now and Disc 1 is easily my favourite. Great opening sales of 48k and hopefully a steady seller up to Christmas.

Yes - steady sales would be good, not completely front loaded on day one. I don't think he will beat Coldplay this week but maybe closer to Christmas he may have a second bite of the cherry.

Great song Snowflakes , love the chorus

I've been listening to the album on Spotify at work today and I really am enjoying it . Anyone else and I wouldn't have given it a chance. Coco's Christmas Lullaby. What a beautiful song that it .

Plus those lyrics to Snowflakes are funny.

I think the warmth of the album is because of where he is now with his lovely family and it just translates into the lyrics. It's very heartfelt.

Album sales are diabolical these days ....remember the days when they would sell over 300k week 1 <_< , I never look at charts these days ...

I really like the album , has great feel good factor to it ...

They are shocking aren't they.

He is obviously not going to be number one this week - congratulations to Coldplay. :)

However - I did read his first weeks sale for HES were 67K so it would be nice if he could get near to that figure. That would show some consistency considering we're three years on from that. Although he did of course debut at number one with that album.

That would have been released a couple of weeks earlier in the period though.

I've checked Amazon and Rod Stewart is number one not Coldplay. I think RW could be 2 or 3.

He may get another chance closer to Christmas though - who knows. Hopefully solid sales fingers crossed. :)

All of that aside - I'm really enjoying the album I think it's lovely. I never thought I would. I should have more faith in Mr Williams' song writing abilities.

Still can't stand Santa Baby though. Either sung by Marilyn or nobody.

He's at Ally Pally tonight recording the show that will be on ITV on 8th December.

I was wondering about the sales figures either, also the ones of Coldplay are not high. He should make the number 2 spot though as Rod was a lot of sales back in the beginning of the week. I think that he can reach 60,000 which would be nice.

Still I hope that he can make a no 1 later in. but was told that the Harry Styles release might also be huge.

No idea that the 1D's still sell well as solo artists considering what I saw of Liam and Louis.

Anyway, Rob will have achieved the goal that he will sell every year at this time.

I like the album. It is a feel good album and so is the video of Times for change.

One question you might have an idea about. Rob has spread his promotion wings to Amazon, Apple, Aldi etc which I think is a great idea.

How does it work during promo? Does the management have to pay that they use RW and work with them or do they pay RW to be his partners?

Robbie's at 5 now on Amazon.

Interesting question, Liz.

In my opinion, everybody of them need have the artist like him.

So fe me it looks like win-win scheme when they can use his profile to promote their products while he has a possibility to reach his fans to use the new platforms.

I'm not sure it's a money deal. At least not so big money. Anyway, I believe he gets more from such type of promotion.

So, folks, I was wondering since the tracklist had been revealed and I'm still wondering considering this album and originals on it.

So, there are 20 originals...well, let's take away Coco's Lullaby Reprise...so 19 originals totally.

So, I'm wondering which artist or band has been produced and released more own Christmas songs than Robbie?

No, listen, literally I'm looking for somebody in music pop history who has made more. I almost can't find anybody with such quantity original songs on their album or even overally during their careers.

Only two artists could be around this achievement:

1. RuPaul (looks she's absolute winner)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slay_Belles

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_Party_(RuPaul_album)

2. Snoop Dogg:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snoop_Dogg_Pr..._tha_Dogg_House

For example, Beach Boys and Johnny Cash has plenty of their own songs but totally is about 10 songs, not more...

Please help me to find somebody else.

So, anyway I just wanted to admit Robbie and his mgmt together have made a really great and rather unique job.

It's for a case if somebody tell you that Rob is becoming into Buble. Absolutely not.

I've had disc two on in the car the last two days - I love it.

I'm going to try disc one tomorrow. Then I can start thinking about which are my favourite tracks. :)

Sales on 57K at the mo.
