Also, special programmes are planned for late on Friday 31st Jan. by Sky, the BBC and ITV now that the Brexit agreement has been passed and the uncertainty has ended.

Until the next Dec 2020 deadline comes near that is probably

Well the government have got to throw a celebration as the electorate voted for it, probably thinking on February 1st their lives will be different. When they wake up and realise nothing has changed, I'm sure it won't be too long until the Brexit Party gets rebranded and ends up picking votes again in 5 years time when nothing changes.

Can see it already, Farage knows what's going to happen - Brexit won't work like people think it will, he will campaign for a voting change, which the left wing will also want, flah forward 5-10 years time and Farage finally gets in to Parliment!

I don't think anything will change, either for the better or the worst. Life will go on, the sun will still shine and Mariah's Christmas song still won't have been No.1. :D

Things will change, mainly really silly stuff that people don't realise e.g. it taking 3 hours to get in to Spain not , not being able to take pets abroad etc. etc. Looks like hopefully No Deal will be avoided, but there's all these minor things which people are oblivious to. Nothing will immeditely change though, will be a little while before people realise changes.

Which would make the last three-and-a-half years one of the biggest wastes of time and money in UK history.

I firmly disagree. The boil needed lancing. Europe's been a contentious issue for years, especially in the Conservative party. Indeed it probably prevented one of it's best politicians, Ken Clarke, of becoming PM. At least we had our say and clearly voted to leave which is what it looks like we're doing.

But if you’re convinced nothing will change, what is there to gain from this? If our lives remain the same either way, why were you so desperate to leave?

Why should we all have gone through the last three-and-a-half years simply for the good of a party most people don't support?

Which one? Technically none of them poll 50%...

Read the post I was responding to.

I did, but must've missed the point?

The referendum was called to try and resolve differences in one political party. It's not hard to work out which one.

It took 3.5 years,but they're getting there. ;)

"Clearly" = 51%, 1 nations and 20% youth support. Lol.

In 5 years no poll will show Leave ahead. In 10 it'll be a noticeable minority. In 15 you'll struggle to find anyone who'll admit voting for it.

Why do you stress 'youth support' as if no-one else's vote matters?

Even if Brexit proves a success?
