According to The Mirror The Government has secretly started to prepare for a no deal Brexit.

The Government stated that the EU transition phase will end on December 31, however concerns are growing that talks could collapse.

It comes as the Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid warned there will be no EU alignment with regulations after Brexit .

Sajid Javid urged businesses to "adjust" to the new reality after Brexit day on January 31 and said that while some will benefit, others will not.

Speaking in an interview with the Financial Times, the Chancellor said the Treasury would not lend support to manufacturers that favour EU rules as the sector has had three years to prepare for Britain's transition.

An unnamed Cabinet Minister told the Mail on Sunday that the So called XO group - chaired by Michael Gove began preparations on Thursday for a "disorderly December".

The Minister added talks had begun on the basis that Brussels "fail to grasp we really are going at the end of the year".

Meanwhile, Boris Johnson intends to begin trade talks with Donald Trump as soon as the UK leaves the EU in 12 days.

A Farage MEP is complaining that we will no longer have any influence on EU fishing policy. You really couldn't make it up.

What’s even funnier is that they never turned up to those meetings when they had the ability to input

Brussels understands fine. This has nothing to do with with anything other than Boris and his merry band of f***tards fulfilling their wet dream of a no deal Brexit. Shamelessly transparent that this is what the outcome was going to be the second the last parli legislated against leaving without a deal

There won't be a no deal Brexit if we get the trade deals in place or at least most by Dec.31st. Good that he's starting immediately with the US, in case the EU drags their feet or starts playing silly beggars with us.

God sake. It is not good. He is not good. He is f***ing atrocious and the USA will sell us dodgy food and buy the nhs and will in no way replace the eu. Also, FOOD MILES ARE A f***ING THING AND WE ARE LIVING THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL CATASTROPHE!! Brexshit is absolutely f***in nuts.

No one is saying they'll replace the eu. Trade talks will be going on simultaneously. The US will not be buying the NHS. Don't know how many times you need telling this.Trump says so, Boris too and every other Tory. It would be electoral suicide just when they have a nice majority.

I am absolutely disgusted by brexshit.

Yes we know that. You've told us often enough.

The government has lost three votes in the Lords over its Brexit legislation - its first defeats since the election.

Peers supported calls for EU nationals to be given a physical document as proof they have the right to live in the UK after it leaves the bloc.

They also voted to remove ministers' power to decide which EU Court of Justice rulings can be disregarded or set aside by UK courts and tribunals.

Ministers will aim to reverse the moves when the bill returns to the Commons.

With a majority of 80, the government will be confident of getting its way.

The EU Withdrawal Bill, which paves the way for the UK to leave the EU with a deal on 31 January, was approved by MPs earlier this month without any changes.

But despite their emphatic victory in December's general election, the Conservatives do not have a majority in the Lords and have suffered a series of defeats during the bill's passage through the unelected House.

Don't know how many times you need telling that they're ALREADY DOING IT, piece by piece. You're an absolute idiot for blindly believing what these clowns tell you, seriously.

He can’t address the nation if we don’t tune in.

Don't worry, if you miss it, it'll be on Youtube... :P

He'll be addressing his cult echo chamber with words by Cummings along the lines of, fliffle flaffle woffle eton hur hurr hurrr I'm rich you're not hurrr come together hurr hurr hyerr we won hyerrr fliffle woffle whaffle.

You can be very amusing sometimes.

It would surely be remiss of them if they didn't, but that doesn't mean they *want* that option.

Have you finishing venting?

Exactly, but he doesn't seem to realize that - and the Tories are much more pragmatic about such things.

The NHS is finished. A hard right tory government saw to that.

Ever since I can remember people have said 'the NHS is in crisis', yet it is still here...

I wish I had a penny for every time you said that. :P

The above was expected - the HOL are doing their job, and they far more closely resemble the 'landed-gentry' of a certain someone's rants. ;)

However, the Salisbury Convention will ensure it's passage on 2nd Reading.

I apologise, my anger boiled over at the sheer idiocy of what he was saying. I couldn't help it.

German version of BBC World but without the credibility issues for those unfamiliar with Deutsche Welle.

This is such a great way to end a relationship with such a vitally important trading block

Little slip of the tongue by President Trump there. :D

Maybe Boris doesn't want to play by EU rules any longer as we're leaving.
