Låpsley returns today with a new single, her first since debut album Long away Home was released in 2016. My Love Was Like The Rain is out now and heads up a new EP out later in November. It premiered as Hottest Record on Radio 1 tonight.

'My Love Was Like The Rain' is growing more and more at a rapid rate :wub: it has a lovely light, airy feel to it that reminds me of something like '110%'. I was into 'Hurt Me' back in 2015 (woah it's been ages) so I'm pleased that she's delivering with this.

This has been pushed back to December 6th

Still loving 'My Love Was Like The Rain' but am not quite as into this new song - hope the other 2 songs on the EP will be more in the vein of MLWLTR.

"Womxn" is great and the tracks released so far are all decent. Will give the album a listen next week when it's out. Hope there's something as good as "Station".

Quite enjoying this album on first listen, really suited to a Saturday morning!

This was lovely to listen to this morning. A little bit of peace in the current madness.

Such a great album from start to finish - really enjoying her work. Surprised this hasn’t troubled the Top 100 mids though considering her debut went Top 40.

My most listened to album of the week so far, particularly enjoying its vibe whilst working from home with the sun shining through the windows.

Disappointed this missed the Top 100 but I guess she couldn’t have had a worse week to launch the album.

We don’t often get a Lapsley remix but when we do they’re really good!
