They should get Dan back again - going for that third time in the final :D

Although I think he may have peaked last time when he arranged his BB funeral etc and managed to orchestrate the whole week to save himself.

I think I might re-watch BB10 again - so many good HMs in that Series

I'm here for that, hope there's some real surprises in the mix if there's last minute changes!

Julie’s confirmed that some had to drop out because they contracted COVID and she doesn’t even know the finalised list! and i oop

There’s a new stage which is filled with LED pixels which hopefully looks like the BBUK outdoor set. Hyped for that! The house actually looks like some effort went into it with some throwbacks to houseguests! Great that we have these changes when they could have been minimum effort considering the current times!

I shouldn’t be because I know how BBUS always turns out but very hyped for this! Maybe because it’s more unlikely to have yet another popular/outsiders clique

I haven't been this invested in BBUS in ages! So excited for the launch, I've seen the most likely cast of 16that most are talking about online but the male cats still seems to be up in air a bit

I'm hoping for some big shocks between now and then, obviously I've seen the rumours but it's very exciting that we could get a shock or two happening with anything to happen still! It's so much more exciting that way with it being All Stars too. I actually feel really excited for the premiere instead of just thinking "oh Big Brother's back, I may as well watch it".

Rank of the rumoured cast just bc I can and I'm bored x

01 Ian (just to see who do a Dan and smash it again, if anyone can win twice I honestly think he can)

02 Dani D (she NEVER comes to play, she's just underrated enough as a player to not imediately be a huge target and get a good standing in the game before she is)

03 Keesha (mostly because I love her, not sure she'll be the biggest threat in the game lmao)

04 Nicole Antony (feel like she could go either way, hopefully her social game is still strong and she gets a good footing plus manages to win some comps)

05 Nicole Franzel (could go either way but the girl can play a social game for sure, it'll be interesting to see her play without being attached to a boy all season, plus the confidence of her win)

06 Janelle (always a legend, I am excited for her by default, but she's had 3 goes and I think she's such a big name within BB she's gonna be one of the first targets I'd have thought)

07 Memphis (it'll be nice to see him out from Dan's shadow)

08 David (soooo much potential and he got such a rough deal last season)

09 Cody (could go either way, but certainly nice to look at)

10 Bayleigh (I did like her on her season at first but I think she f***ed it up when she could have really turned things around, it'll be interesting to see how she is post Challenge though)

11 Da'vonne (it's well documented i am not her biggest fan, I just don't think she's that great of a player and has had two shots where she frankly did very little but she can be intuitive plus I've heard she grew a lot on The Challenge so maybe she'll have a fire lit and do better this time, jury is out for me)

12 Kaysar (nice guy but not someone i was racing to have back)

13 Christmas (I guess it'll be nice for her to get a shot without a broken leg but meh)

14 Enzo (zzzzzzzzzzzzzz)

15 Kevin (given he came third, I can't remember much so that says a lot)

16 Tyler (please GOD can they all just team up and get him out as a threat, I think that could happen but part of me is dreading CBS making him smash through and I cannot be arsed)

Such a good cast, hopefully the twists aren't too much and ruin the course because I think the range of characters and potential dynamics is great. Rooting for Janelle, Nicole A, Dani and Ian, not suuuuper mad at Cody being first HOH but idk where he'll go. I wonder if he'll take out Nicole F given she ratted out Derrick pre-season

I do think the first round for the HOH was unfair though, seemed like the two male groups had super easy paths compared to the women? I feel like it should have been the same question for all of them with the same hole to aim for?

Also Memphis and kaysar are DADDIES, between them, ofc Cody and nerdy cute Ian, the gays are being FED x

Alright. Let's please never do a live launch again. Doesn't work for BBUS.

Outside of that.....

Honestly, this was cast 150x better than the previous All-Stars. I cut myself off from spoilers a while back, but this cast is pretty much identical to what TMZ had reported.

I'm just happy this is back. The excitement is real!!!

My take on the cast:

Kaysar Ridha: I've been watching BB6 again in anticipation of this season and I failed to remember he basically set BB6 in motion. Sure, it got him kicked out THREE TIMES pre-jury, but he kinda set Janelle up for success that season. He's an excellent addition and I really hope he does well this year. Plus, omg he's hotter than ever.

Memphis Garrett: I've always had a big crush on Memphis and I've been a huge supporter. He's will be underestimated this year for sure. Plus, omg he's hotter than ever.

Nicole Anthony: I wasn't a fan her first time, but I'm supportive of this appearance.

Ian Terry: Kinda hope he crashes and burns like Dan, but doesn't actually make the final.

Kevin Campbell: Wow. So completely random. I guess they couldn't get Andy hey? I'm actually okay with this.

Enzo Palumbo: MEOW MEOW. So random. I love it.

Tyler Crispen: I really don't think he has what it takes to make it very far this season. He got lucky playing with weak people.

David Alexander: Meh

Cody Calafiore: I feel that this was a mistake.

Bayleigh Dayton: I didn't really vibe with Bayleigh on her season, I felt she went when she should have. But I'm appreciative she was given another chance without Swaggy. She just finished making it to the final on another RTV Show, so there is something there for sure.

Janelle Pierzina: OMMMMMGGGGGGGG I hope she does well. I don't know if I see this ending well.

Da'Vonne Rogers: QUEEN QUEEN QUEEN

Nicole Franzel: I've hated her each and every time she has played, but it wouldn't be All-Stars without her. Even when she's not doing anything, her presence is known. She has great impact in the game both times she has played. She's a smart, logical player and we kinda need her.

Keesha Smith: I loved Keesha and her spot was spoiled for me because she was trending on Twitter (LIKE OUR QUEEN JANELLE) but I loved Keesha when she played, but again - a really random pick, but I'm LIVING.

Dani Briones: Completly overshadowed the entire premere which is AMAZING. Fly under the radar girl. I need her to play smart this year. She knows the mistakes she made each year. She can DO this.

Christmas Abbott: Again. Random but deserving.

The women's casting is pretty much an 8/10 but I'm disappointed with the selection of Males. Also - WHERE IS DANIELLE REYES. WHY DID THEY NOT GO BACK FURTHER THAN BB6.

Have we confirmed that the rumours of Josh and Kaycee getting COVID were true? Josh, Kaycee and Bayleigh were all just on another RTV Show together that has ties to Da'Vonne, so.. kinda happy that there isn't that connection - but also more broader connections. Sure some people have played together before, but, I think the relationships are loose enough where it will not have a massive impact.

Nicole/Da'Vonne stands out to me - but, really, Da'Vonne was the final vote for Nicole that sealed her win.. and I don't think their beef was that significant.

I'm so happy with the cast! Bayleigh was the only letdown but I'll give her a chance to play without Swaggy for once. The house looks great, the set looks incredible, and the live episode was an even bigger hot mess than expected  Just having a season to watch feels really good but to actually be excited about Big Brother after how last season went, I think I'll appreciate this no matter what happens.

I'm definitely most excited about Memphis, never would've imagined seeing him on the show again! Kevin was also a complete surprise and I'm really happy that the Keesha rumors were true <3

Alright. Let's please never do a live launch again. Doesn't work for BBUS.

I quite liked it! Especially the Cody live DR. I know the live launch is a red herring but I'm really hoping for episodes that are less scripted.

Such a mess of a first episode, could have done with less of the drawn out challenges, awkward questions from Julie where you learn nothing, and the have-nots being stuck in a corridor for a couple of minutes.

But I love the cast! Can't wait to see them start to interact with eachother. Not sure who to root for yet, I feel this season could go in so many different ways!

Agreed on the live launch, Chenbot getting irritable because the plan was 2 seconds out  It was like htat episode of Spongebob where he plans a party and is like "nooooo mingling isn't until 9:07!!!", I get they've got a time to stick to but I agree on the competitions being a bit drawn out, I don't think the ball maze puzzle thing really worked as a live comp, I feel like they should have done something quicker with everyone at the end maybe, I did like the game beginning the second they get in the house but it was just was't executed that well.

Gonna do a full thoughts on the cast too (forewarning, my thirst is off the charts x):

Bayleigh: she seemed like a random pick but people who saw her on the Challenge seem excited for her second wind. Maybe she'll be a comp threat this time, hopefully she learns from her hot-headedness that cost her last time around, but it'll be nice to see her play without Swaggy too.

Christmas: yawn, she's just so boring? I guess it's nice for her to get a shot without a broken foot, but her scooter is more of All Star than she is. Lol at her acting like she's a Britney Haynes level social game queen in her intro as well.

Cody: I mean he was always gorgeous, but wheewwww  With him and Memphis, they've got two of the worse halfs of iconic duos but we'll see how he goes. Solid start with the HOH, I just hope he doesn't target any of my faves. I always liked him in his season despite him and Derrick making it predictable and just steamrolling so I'm not mad if he gets a good standing on this season, but I don't quite trust he's not gonna set up some bromance duo or bro alliance.

Daniele: she's doing well blending in immediately, I think she's just underrated enough as a player that if she keeps a low profile but sets up some connections in that time, she'll have a good standing for the game when the time comes that she has to play hard.

David: very random pick but I did think he deserved so much more last season. We'll see, I doubt he'll be a target right away as there's big names and people who are gonna play hard, but I feel at best he's gonna fade away a bit in this cast.

Da'vonne: she is very likeable I'll give her that, I feel like I *could* stan this time around and as with Bayleigh, apparently the Challenge changed her so I'm intrigued to see her game this time round.

Enzo: such a random pick, I was never really a fan and I didn't get much from him here.

Ian: one of my all time faves, so glad he's here! He seemed a bit like a rabbit in headlights but he did he was gonna play down for a bit, idk how well that will work given they all know he is a good enough player to have won? He did so well because he was underestimated last time and snuck up and demolished everything but I don't know that will work a second time. I trust he's smart enough to smash it again though and adapt accordingly! Also he lowkey got hot??

Janelle: Agreed Aaron, idk if I can see it really going well for her, she has nothing to prove like some of the others so I don't think she has that same fire under her, and I think because she's the biggest name here, she could easily just be a target for that. But she'll be great TV anyway I'm sure.

Kaysar: DADDY *.* He played so hard so fast in BB6, just because he was out early I think people forget he had a lot of impact on the season. Both his stints were so long ago though, so he could be totally different this time.

Keesha: really random pick but I'm so glad to see her! Keesha's birthday is up there with Dan's funeral as one of my absolute faves, I think she's probably the weakest player out of the girls but we'll see.

Kevin: very random pick, Andy definitely would have done it I think they're just wiping BB15 under the carpet  Couldn't remember much about him but I like him from the premiere.

Memphis: good lord that is a MAN *.* He aged well. I agree I think he might be underestimated, people will overlook him as Dan's puppet and whilst they're not TOTALLY wrong, I think he's capable on his own for sure and could be a dark horse among the stronger players who could play too hard.

Nicole A: so glad to see her back in a season that isn't toxic and racist (hopefully x) with a good cast. I think she could go either way, she had a great game last season but she could easily be out of her element or overshadowed. She's such a pure soul and deserves the best anyway.

Nicole F: people do not give her the credit, whilst she was dull af on BB18, she really bossed that season. She's a smart player and I think she can easily adapt to however the season goes, so I wouldn't count her out at all. I forget how likeable she is too when she's just herself and not draped over a man, I lowkey feel like I could stan her this time.

Tyler: you can't say he's not a good player, but I just can't stand him as a person  Because we've been burnt so many times by BB (every year since 17 pretty much), I've got visions of him running shit again with some awful bro alliance of him, Enzo and Cody and targeting all the strong women we're excited for first

-----

Very good cast, I agree the male side is lacking (Tyler as a strong player and Ian as a winner aside) but there's nobody I would say is absolutely counted out or an easy first boot, depending on how it all goes when they interact with each other I feel like most of them could go either way. I'm excited anyway, it's nice to look at a cast and not just think they're mostly douches.

Jason and Danielle from BB3 are doing a Podcast this season.

Danielle knows what she's talking about, Jason seemed to just agree and didn't have any strong opinions. Jason did confirm he got a call for the first All Stars however!

I wonder if Danielle even got a call this go around.

I think the Live Launch worked aside from the competitions which were dull AF. I guessed I missed the actual reactions to seeing each other too through Diary Rooms but I know we’ll get that on Sunday. Also, Chenbot endlessly going ‘you’re gonna be evicte— JUST KIDDING’. I’m intrigued by the extra rooms twist considering the layout of the house hasn’t changed, although maybe the outside set change allows for that? The outside set looks amazing though, love love the wraparound screens!

Although we the facemasks really necessary? Because any effect they had was wasted when they were thrown around the house on entry!! Why weren’t they disposed of at the door or something...

The cast is very exciting, especially as we should be finally getting proper Big Brother gameplay rather than any of that BB19 shite. Speaking of which, none of that cast are all-stars aside from Paul - idc Christmas broke her foot, she had zero impact on the game. I remember being excited for her in BB19 as she could have been a comp beast but, she didn’t play the game when she had a chance so being a comp beast doesn’t matter. I can see her getting swallowed up, or just used to win competitions. Glad we didn’t get Josh there and tbh I can’t see him fitting within that cast.

I always feel the first night evictees deserve second chances because they get zero chance to display any gameplay but wow, it’s going to be TOUGH for David to get his second chance in an All Stars game!! It’s the reverse of Paul being the only returnee - he’s essentially the newbie in a game of returnees. He essentially has no experience in playing the game. Interested to see it play out but he could be an easy pawn throughout.

I get Nicole F should be there as she was a massive part of both her series and I loved her in BB16 but there’s been something really off-putting with her since. I think part of it is that she’s never an ally to the women and will always throw them under the bus over the men and I’ve seen signs of her wanting to ally with the guys again. It would kinda suck this season when you’ve got such a strong female cast.

Day is there for the entertainment factor to me, she brings so much energy and humour to each episode whilst still being able to play Big Brother. I’m not gonna get my hopes up this time (I will end up doing so oops) but hopefully she HAS learnt from her previous mistakes and I think she’s got good relationships with a few houseguests going into the house so it will be interesting. I’m interested in seeing Nicole A play too, as I said before she was the only redeeming quality of last season before I stopped watching so at least I get to see that.

I think Tyler had a really strong game in his season but, as he admitted, I think he’ll suffer from people being aware of that. He would have definitely been strengthened if Kaycee had been there. I could foresee there being a vets/newbies divide and, if so, I think he would be an easy target of the vets.

I’m not too fussed by Cody & Bayleigh. I can never recall Cody being a key player of his season, if I remember he was more of a coaster with the alliance. I agree that Bayleigh kinda went out at the right time in her season and I cba if she just talks about Swaggy all the time.

Those are the ones I’ve seen the seasons for. I’ve seen Danielle in BB13 but I just find that a tragic season given how obvious the producer influence/rigging was so it’s hard to judge gameplay of anyone from that season - although she was a highlight, especially as she went against the grain.

oops that’s more than I planned to write, guess I needed Big Brother back in my life :kink:
