November 5, 20196 yr It's kind of depressing that Fairytale has fallen out of fashion with younger folk. Last Christmas is sappy shite & Mariah is too full of itself by comparison imo. Still, both are better than the latest indiepop ghost voiced girl's piano covet of a classic rock hit, whichever of those it will be this year.
November 5, 20196 yr Mariah for me :wub: But I do love Wham as well Mariah has the biggest chance because she tends to always do the best on streams and there’s more promo surrounding it this year. She’s also underrated in terms of UK #1s so it would make up for that too if she gets it. I’m expecting a charity release to get the Xmas #1 though. I think a lot of people don’t realise the Xmas chart though so most Xmas tracks will probably peak on the 27 December chart. Like on the days before Christmas unless you follow the charts I don’t think people will be aware the Christmas number ones already been revealed. It’s less of a event these days though. I can just picture Ed Sheeran getting it though :lol:

They gave it to some fad flop star too!! Hope Wham falls out of fashion again and gets ivertsken by actual Xheistmas songs. One More Sleep please! Don't really like Fairytale that much tbh. It's aging badly.
November 5, 20196 yr I also like both, and ideally both would be number 1 at last. But I had to go for Mariah as she just pips Wham for me. Of course The Pogues wipe the floor with the pair of them!

November 9, 20196 yr Neither, I'm done with both. I voted Last Christmas because Mariah's track gets on my pip a bit more, probably due to it being the most overplayed.
