This is their best album in quite some time for me, probably since Fundamental. There's nothing on it I don't like and I'm even enjoying the b-sides from this era too.

If they did more promotion they may possibly have kept some previous midweek Number 1 albums and same with this.

#89 in the mids today. I love that these physical releases do something for them but just not enough!

Yes such a shame that their physicals never sell quite enough to give them an official Top 100 single - their collectors fan base seems to have declined rapidly in recent years too. Glad they still bother with physicals though as they know there is still a demand for it :cheer:

Ya they have had a few mid week top 100 but can never hold on, its years since they have made the top 100 singles.

Thursday (with Example) in 2013! It got to #61. Tbh the whole Electric album is fantastic, one of my faves.

I’m giving Hotspot another spin right now and Will-o-the-wisp is hitting me differently now

Still think Will-o-the-wisp is by far the best thing on this, but I Don't Wanna is easily my favourite single from this era (the current scenario has definitely helped). Whole thing is probably a 6/10 from me and I'm a lifelong fan. Really thought Thursday had a good chance of cracking the top 40 back then, was gutted when they skipped it when it was #40 on the R1 chart update (too many new entries to get through). But had fallen 21 places by the end of the week! The wedding song on this is stupid. Nonetheless, still the best album by a pair of sixtysomethings I've ever heard.
