Posted November 18, 20195 yr ouCuyQI9pXc This from Young T & Bugsey the follow-up to their successful hit 'Strike A Pose' featuring Headie One which entered the UK Chart at #28 on Friday. This becoming Young T & Bugsey's 3rd UK Top40 hit and Headie One's 4th UK Top40 hit. What do you make of this?
February 10, 20205 yr Author 13 weeks later, it remains in the Top 40. Another song which has stuck in the chart for a while for Young T & Bugsey.
April 24, 20205 yr A slow burner this one! Seems to have been hanging around the top 20 on iTunes for ages. This week it's #17 on sales. Edited April 24, 20205 yr by Catherine91
April 25, 20205 yr A slow burner this one! Seems to have been hanging around the top 20 on iTunes for ages. This week it's #17 on sales. That's because it has went viral on Tik Tok. It also debuted at #16 on the Bubbling Under section of the Billboard chart for the same reason. I would love it if it could officially chart there but I'm not convinced it will since City Of Angels hasn't even reached the top 100 yet.

A couple of months ago I had to Google 'what is TikTok'...
April 25, 20205 yr Oh, that proves I'm not keeping up with what's going viral! A couple of months ago I had to Google 'what is TikTok'... There's certainly no shame in that :D To be honest, I've no idea why its now popular on Tik Tok, I just know it it

The US are not usually receptive to the urban music from the UK.
May 12, 20205 yr Debuts at #100 on the Hot 100 this week!!! :cheer: I was sure it was going to end up stalling on Bubbling Under. What an achievement for an all British rap song *.*
May 12, 20205 yr I still find it odd how we eat up literally all their rap hits but ours seldom make a dent there. In the digital era with music sharing so easy worldwide I can't believe lack of exposure would be a barrier.
May 12, 20205 yr This is brilliant to see. It's mad how none of the massive British rap songs over the few years have made any impact. Something like Shutdown, Shut Up or even Man's Not Hot should have made it.
May 12, 20205 yr Apparently the mainstream American audience just doesn't like the accents in UK rap songs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's weird that the biggest names in the current UK rap scene (Stormzy, Dave, AJ Tracey etc.) have never come close to cracking the US and yet the one song that does is... the second biggest UK hit by Young T & Bugsey of all people  TikTok works in mysterious ways.
June 1, 20205 yr Author Has managed a second wind by 're-entering the Top 40 and remained there for four weeks.
June 11, 20205 yr They’re obviously pushing for this to become a hit in America as they’ve just released a remix with the #1 artist in the country at the moment: DaBaby. rMT-Gu11qH8
June 16, 20205 yr I would so love this song to break out and be the start of a British urban takeover. Imagine Dave, AJ Tracey, J Hus, Fredo etc on the Hot 100.
