It was very much a tongue in cheek comment dw ;) whatever happens I just hope it's not obvious from the start and we get a genuine battle where no one can be quite sure who will come out on top until the end.

It’ll be Lad Baby but I really hope by some miracle Stormzy does it and actually pushes for the number 1 like he did before!

 

Own it is such a killer track and this it’s only chance of a #1 before Tones and I go back in the New Year.

Why do I have a horrible feeling Stormzy is going to be initially on course for #1 but then throw it away for himself by actively pushing for people to download LadBaby similar to what happened with Bieber and the NHS Choir...

 

(cmon Stormzy, you know you want the Xmas #1 for yourself, you tried to get it with 'Shut Up' a few years ago and all!!)

Does anyone think Wham could do it? Their fans are going for it again, with the backing of the label and a special vinyl. Two years ago they sold like 66k so it's possible they could do it again.

Stormzy has now released another single ('Audacity' feat. Headie One) so the distinction between Stormzy and Stormzy & Ed Sheeran on Bet365 now might make more sense. Although I doubt this one will actually chart higher than 'Own It' based on the feature (not that I've heard the song yet).
