April 23, 20214 yr The song was perfect as it was, this remix is totally pointless. Americans really seem to have a habit of remixing songs that don’t need it.
April 23, 20214 yr Yeah I was basically going to echo the previous post - Save Your Tears is great as is. The Ariana remix is ok, but unnecessary.

April 23, 20214 yr It's necessary to give this song a shot at #1 in the U.S. :kink: I love the outing of Ariana's lower register, compliments the moody nature of the song well, then her higher vocals flourish in the adlibs and harmonies. Happy with it! Sure it's not a complete overhaul but I wouldn't have wanted that at all with a song as strong as 'Save Your Tears' in its original form. I was so disappointed by the ROSALÍA remix of 'Blinding Lights' (another one of my favourite artists) but I'll definitely be returning to this.
April 23, 20214 yr I do too! I just listened expecting something awful from the comments but I really like it, I think it would have sounded odd in a higher register and I really like that she’s sung it in a way that compliments and respects the song.
April 24, 20214 yr It reminds me of the Doja Cat remix of In Your Eyes. It’s a fantastic song to begin with and didn’t need anything added, but the remix doesn’t take anything away from the original either. I’m happy swapping between each version of In Your Eyes when I listen to it and I’m sure I’ll feel the same about Ariana’s remix of Save Your Tears too
May 16, 20214 yr Save Your Tears wreaks of Stock Aitken and Waterman. The simplistic melody (not a negative thing) is exactly their style. But it's better than almost anything they ever side. I get what you mean! I'm also getting touches of Soft Cell's 'Say Hello, Wave Goodbye' in there too.

March 18, 20232 yr Finally! Also Save Your Tears is about to hit 100 Weeks in the Uk top 100 Singles Chart as is "After Hours" but in the Albums chart.
May 6, 20232 yr 5 Weeks ago 'Save Your Tears' hit 100 weeks in the UK top 100 singles chart, as of now it has spent 105 weeks (2 years+). Is is his 2nd song to do so after 'Blinding Lights'. 'After Hours' has also now spent 100 weeks in the UK albums top 100 as of yesterday! It is is 4th projects to do so with 'Beauty Behind The Madness' on 103, 'Starboy' on 116 & 'The Highlights' on 117. I can see him overtaking the former.
May 6, 20232 yr Great to see him get another album on 100 weeks! At the time of release it felt like Blinding Lights was so huge that it overshadowed what else was on the album. In your Eyes deserved a higher peak but I’m glad Save Your Tears eventually got its moment. I still think this is an exceptional album that was completely robbed of GRAMMYs! I can’t wait to see him on tour now it’s getting close my shows on July 7th!
