Posted November 30, 20195 yr Over the past few days, speculation that a Netflix documentary on Shawn's tour / life is in the works has been building, and someone on Twitter claimed that when he arrived in Sao Paulo he was being filmed by the Netflix crew. I'm ready if it's true *.* - it has been rumoured for a while now, so I'd be surprised if it didn't come to fruition - something along the lines of Taylor's reputation Tour, but with added segments, a bit more like 1D's This Is Us. Thoughts?
December 3, 20195 yr Author If this is happening then it must've been awkward when Shawn cancelled one of the shows after falling ill :kink:
August 7, 20204 yr Author Don't know if people are just trolling on Twitter, but there appears to be more noise about a documentary and that it's coming soon? :o
October 13, 20204 yr Author OMG I can't believe it's finally happening :cheeseblock: SOOOOO excited to watch this!! surely must mean there'll be a song either before or immediately after it before the album's released too to hype?
October 13, 20204 yr Author I need a DVD of this too, that better be going on your store at some point Shawn xx
October 14, 20204 yr Author Shawn's joining another listening party for Wonder tomorrow, and will be answering questions about In Wonder, so hopefully we might find out some more about it then! *.*
October 18, 20204 yr Author A bit more information about the documentary: "chronicling the past few years of Mendes' life, including his rise to fame, his 2019 self-titled world tour and the making of Wonder" Only a few weeks to go now!! :cheer:
October 20, 20204 yr Author THE TRAILER IS HERE :cheeseblock: @1318586327546224641 This honestly looks so incredible, and I feel like it's gonna be very emotional  Can't wait to relive some of the tour moments, and see the creative process of Wonder too!!
October 20, 20204 yr Author I really hope Particular Taste is included in the tour footage, that was such a moment
October 21, 20204 yr Author There's a reaction video of Shawn watching the trailer for In Wonder now and 1) I honestly feel this is gonna be the best documentary, 2) the way he talks about how vulnerable it's all gonna be , and 3) he is SERVING in that video, making me love the long hair all the more!! November 18, 20204 yr Author Reviews are starting to come in about this now - seeming to be quite 50/50. Some are saying it's absolutely amazing, perfect, and just the right documentary about a normal young person like Shawn and what he's been through. Others seem unhappy that it's not 'dramatic' like Katy/Lady Gaga/etc's Netflix documentaries, but they seem not to be fans of Shawn in general, so oh well. Can't wait, and only 5 days to go now :cheer:
