Oh Jesus - worse than a Tory landslide!

Still hope I thought he was going to push Tones down to 0.10.

 

Last year even with massive promo he only got 5,000 streaming sales points.

 

Stormzy is plastered everywhere on Apple and Spotify I reckon Own it will push over 500k streams.

 

Hopefully it’s a battle!

I said in the LadBaby thread that he'll probably need to push Tones And I down to 0.1 if not even lower, certainly in the first day at the very least, to be in with a chance of #1. This initial lead isn't as large as I feared it would be, although it'll obviously grow later in the day.

 

Interested to see how his streaming total will compare to last year as well (was about 5k last year).

 

Stormzy cutting 'Own It' to 59p is hopefully an encouraging sign that he is going to actually go for Xmas #1 himself rather than nobly standing down and endorsing LadBaby (which wouldn't be a bad thing for the charity aspect obviously but... I just really don't want LadBaby at #1 again lmao)

At least 'Dance Monkey' only managed 7k in pure sales last week so even a huge lead for LadBaby doesn't necessarily mean huge sales... I hope not anyway.
