December 19, 20195 yr It's crazy to think at the start of the decade she was basically releasing an album every week!
December 19, 20195 yr I think she will come back eventually for at least one more album but it's clear her priorities lie elsewhere at the moment. A bit like Justin Timberlake's gap in music releases while he was focusing on trying to be an actor.
December 19, 20195 yr I think a Rihanna comeback is imminent, hasn't she done a double album, first one dancehall second more dance?
December 19, 20195 yr That rumour goes back to at least July 2018, there's no actual sign they're any closer now than they were then
December 19, 20195 yr Marc Almond to get a top 20 album in 2019. Elvis presley new recordings found Hopefully more dance music and rock and metal and less urban hits Small independent film to be the soundtrack of the year
December 20, 20195 yr ABBA mini-mania in the first half of 2020 Steps bring out an album that isn't half as amazing as Tears Some sort of Queen anthology collection is released Shock death of an icon... Like a bona fide icon
December 31, 20195 yr I can't see chart music trends changing much in 2020, maybe in two years time, pure pop and urban will still dominate as now with a few house hits breaking through as Regard and Endor did this year.
January 1, 20205 yr A eurovision song will become a chart hit Yes, it will be big in Sweden, Switzerland and Germany but not in the UK charts. My predictions: - Anne Marie will be back with a huge UK top 10 hit this year. - A new british group will be massive in the US charts. - A male singer (not british) will have a great year in the UK charts - his name starts with a 'J' - Ariana Grande will have a Drake 2019 year (flop) - Scotland will leave the UK and their official chart will be so much better than the UK charts.
January 1, 20205 yr Drake had quite a successful year in 2019 considering he barely released anything new (only 2 proper new songs excluding features, both went top 40 and one was a reasonably big hit). Even got a top 5 album with a collection of old unreleased songs. I don't think Ariana is going to even release anything in 2020 apart from maybe a feature or two, it'd be good going for her if she has chart success even remotely comparable to Drake's 2019. x

January 1, 20205 yr Will we get an Adele album? Yes Who will sing the next James Bond film theme? Billie Eilish Is Rihanna coming back? Yes Will LadBaby get a third Cmas number one? No Who else do you predict to have a good year and who will flop? Adele - good year. There will be 1 big rock song, and no more. What new chart rule will the OCC introduce? The right to exclude "problematic" artists from the chart.
January 1, 20205 yr I think Q1 2020 will be very exciting especially for pop music. Q4 2019 was so bland but really feel that early 2020 will see strong competition and see a lot of big releases happening. Edited January 1, 20205 yr by Jordan Lee
January 1, 20205 yr A Billie Eilish Bond theme could be great tbh. (Don't see it happening tho) That's a good guess for who will do the next Bond Theme, her style is moody and atmospheric which goes with Bond Themes but I think there is a danger her whispery vocal style will get lost in the orchestration. It's more likely to be someone like Lewis Capaldi or Tom Walker this time I think.
January 2, 20205 yr Yes, it will be big in Sweden, Switzerland and Germany but not in the UK charts. :lol:Which British Group in particular are you thinking will ?
