Does anyone think BUS or Holiday could get a reset from ACR on album release week?

 

Could either increase streaming wise more than 25%?

Oh wow! Happiness charted for a second week at #94!

 

Holiday stable at #80.

Surely BUS and Holiday will both get a reset? Though I think BUS might be removed (by the 3 song rule) in favour of the track they push on NMF and the smaller playlists. Maybe the title track? Could chart between 40 and 60 like their usual promo singles.

BUS might end up selling more than Holiday on release week due to being track 1 / the bigger and more familiar hit of the two.

Which songs charted on LM5's release week? Woman Like Me, Strip and The Cure?

 

It'll be interesting to see if with Confetti it'll be the three singles or whichever song's pushed on NMF!

Am I right in thinking this has potential to be the biggest sales week of the year? Adele isn't releasing anymore is she? Anyone else?

 

Gaga currently has it with 53k. With the reception to Positions I'm thinking that doesn't do over 50k now. Though, this is me just assuming that Confetti can match LM5 which might be wrong I guess.

I don’t think it will really take much attention away from the single, especially since it’ll probably come on Monday or Tuesday.

Personally I think it’s perfect, everytime they release a track it boosts others and the album, so perfect timing releasing the title track less than a week before release.

 

Albums are more frontloaded than ever now, it’s all about selling as many formats in the first week, so it could work so well in building more momentum a few days before the album drops.

Good points. Though there's just something so much better about being excited and listening to an album when you've got no idea what most of it will be like. But yeah it probably is a good idea for the streaming era.

In terms of first week sales I think it might be possible! I reckon Christmas week will have bigger sales, not sure what album that will be. Possible that AC/DC could have bigger first week sales, their last album did 90k+ I think.

I can definitely see AC/DC getting close to that 90k again, for sure!

 

I think I'm gonna ignore 'Confetti' (unless it is indeed performed on The Search - but then I might just listen to that version and save studio version until next week). It's gonna be tempting but I'll restrain myself!

 

I might cool off from listening to them this week in general! Get as much experience out of the album as I can *.*

Doesn’t sound very nursery rhyme at all I feel, which is good but there’s too little to go on.

 

Also the fact they started with NBMF and not Confetti is confirmation it’s coming tonight.
