Thinking about streaming numbers. Anyone remember how LM5 did on Apple Music the first few days?

 

On Spotify the album tracks had a pretty big variation from #70 (TAU) to #190 (WW). Though those in the bottom half of the top 200 held pretty well and even rose a few times during the week.

 

I'm expecting Confetti to do slightly better.

How many tracks do we think will make the Spotify top 200 on Saturday? What are we expecting to be added to New Music Friday?

 

I'm gonna guess 'Confetti' will be the NMF addition (probs about 4 or 5) and I'd like to see at least half the album top 200! (I wonder if they could actually get the full album? Icr if LM5 did or not)

I definitely think they will be higher than 4/5 on NMF..

 

If i remember correctly, all tracks from LM5 were top 200? (or all but a few) So i definitely think they could all go top 200 tbh!

Confetti for sure, it's always good for the album to add the title track too.

 

I know someone (possibly Bray?) said Holiday would be the second highest track on Spotify on release, but I'm pretty sure Confetti will be higher and Holiday will be 3rd or 4th.

Kylie has sold 4,000 copies of the Marble vinyl alone..

 

I really can see her being #1 with a huge margin as her sales of multiple formats is pretty insane and she has signed Vinyl's coming..

Remember the girls done loads of signed amazon exclusives. I think there was around 6? So that was probably 1000 each time i’m assuming.

 

I still think the girls have this, i cant tell if i’m being too optimistic but whatever :lol:

 

Edit: It was 4k worldwide sales for her vinyl so i’m assuming around 1-2k for the UK? I’m sure LMs amazon exclusives were UK only so it’s fine!

Totally agree on the battle front, I really hope they pull out all the stops and fight for it, just to make it interesting.

 

She does...She was on Instagram yesterday signing the white Vinyl inserts.

 

I’m far less confident now as she has loads of promo lined up and a rumoured release of a picture disc set.

 

Still both are going to open with massive sales, so both will do well regardless.

Yes but a lot of people cancelled their original order to order the marble vinyl.

 

Jeez you lot sure do overreact 😭

I don't think Little Mix have lost for sure, but with signed Vinyls coming, I don't think it's an overreaction, considering Kylie fans are known for being huge collectors - Golden did huge numbers outside of Q4 largely because lots of her fans bought every version possible.

I’m not overreacting at all, I think we’ll be surprised come Monday’s mids just how well she is doing...

 

4,000 vinyls in 3 days at £30 each.

 

Little Mix just don’t have the same fan buying power, Kylie’s fans will spend hundreds.

 

I’ve seen many fans spending £380+ on all the versions and bundles so far.

 

The signed vinyl press was selling for £1,000 and they sold 6.

 

It’s crazy how hard they go in.

 

I still don’t think it’s guaranteed but it’s going to be difficult.

On NZ Spotify now, it's so tempting not to skip the first six tracks and listen to the new ones but I wanna see how songs like Holiday & Not a Pop Song hold up.

Cassettes have been removed from the store and one of the bundles.

 

I wonder if that’s the cassettes done now or if they are planning something?

 

It’s a shame they haven’t (as yet) planned any sort of limited press vinyl or another format I think it would sell well.
