It’s so silly because they’ll make all sales get cancelled.

There’s no way for anyone to verify it. No where does it state “your own money must be used”, ultimately someone is still buying it and a receiving it. It’s not like bot activity, if anything it’s quite sweet.

 

They wouldn’t just cancel sales, they can’t do that. If it was illegal or unfair Little Mix’s team would definitely be aware of that by now and would be taking action against that account, but they’re not, cause it’s perfectly legit. It’s just Kylie stans being petty.

There is a section on chart rules and it does list about funding pools and using funds from aboard to send for UK purchasing.

 

The thing is though how would they ever find out what sale was legit or not?

 

Unless they mean someone outside the Uk gifting the actual iTunes copy to someone in the UK directly?

On another note, has anyone ordered from the store over the weekend? Mine still hasn’t dispatched and my order from Friday was shipped the same day but still hasn’t arrived.

Yeah i really don’t see why people are making this an issue lol it’s actually very nice to see some of the fans do something like this as i always see comments on LMs tweets saying “please lower your prices as some of us can’t afford to pay that much” etc etc so now those fans can have the excitement of buying an album. Honestly i think it’s just Kylie stans being annoying and trying to make it into something it’s not. It’s literally real people buying the album but with money sent from someone else, that’s not suspicious at all like already stated so i really wouldn’t worry. Most fandoms do stuff like this!

Strip was never added to HHUK was it? Despite a decent run in the U.K. top 50. Confetti could end up going silver!

Kylie stans are purposely going onto iTunes and rating Confetti a 1/5, which has actually dragged its rating down from 5 to 4 1/2 and now to 4 lol.

I know iTunes doesn't mean an awful lot, but a lot of people still check reviews when going to buy an album, especially casual listeners, and it's extremely petty. I know there's been a bit of a stan war but Little Mix stans haven't actually done anything like this.

I did see but I didn't agree w/everything you said. You got personal with Kylie herself, which isn't fair, she's an amazingly talented woman. But also that thread was massively unfair as I saw Little Mix stans being told to act a certain way but no one telling the Kylie stans who were being catty, to act a certain way.

 

Kylie's stans on the other hand have really shown their asses this time around. It's really gross the way they've been coming for Little Mix.

It was simply to prove a point because my posts were already being screenshot on Twitter.

 

Also, I still maintain she can’t sing as well as she used to and I still really didn’t like her GN performance haha!

Im hating the divide in some corners, i like Little Mix and have always supported them but i adore Kylie and want her to do well and so want her to get the number 1 as i know Little Mix long term will sell more. Kylie and little mix have no personnel issues, its just a friendly chart battle to them and both want to win, as i have said from the off, i hate that they released on the same day, i just wish they had different weeks but there is no need for either fans to be getting so nasty about things.

I would like LM to get it, but I won't be mad if it went to Kylie, either. I haven't even heard 'DISCO' (and I'm more of a casual fan) but I love Kylie as a person and she deserves nothing but the best and she deserves the crown of being the first female to get a UK #1 across 5 different Decades... however, with Little Mix, we all know a bands shelf life is shorter so for them to get a 2nd UK #1 across 2 different Decades would be an amazing feat for them.

 

I've barely taken a look at the chart war threads this week and I've enjoyed this battle a LOT. I do wish LM team were trying that little bit more and counteracting Kylie's moves more, coz these battles this last year have been amazing and made me interested in the charts in a way I've not felt for a long time, so it'd have been nice for a bit more of a battle... but hey, 2 days left so who knows what tactics they will both do! :D

Exactly! Like I already said in the midweeks topic, both are incredible pop artists, who have a very successful career and we should just be very happy to see two female pop acts on top of the charts, something that's quite rare these days.

I wonder if the streaming party will have any impact whatsoever on Spotify?
