Album will debut 5-7 on a quiet week. On a tough week, around #10, but it will struggle for that.

 

First single will struggle for top 15. Subsequent will struggle for top 30/ 40. Splitsville after tour obligations. Wouldn't discount this being a greatest hits album and auto splitsville either.

Bit of a drop for the album, down to 16

oof, that's a drop for it. but considering it hasn't had anything holding it up lately I'm quite surprised. although that sale didn't do much then.

 

although for comparison by the 13th week of release, Glory Days was at #8, Get Weird was at #18 and LM5 was at #29 so it's not doing too bad.

Apparently the announcement of the postponement of the tour is Monday and the new dates are April/May 2022

I’m worried the Confetti album won’t be that prominent on their 2022 tour. :( I imagine it’ll be heavy on the next album with the old big singles instead.

I'm not sure if I believe them, 1) because of the contradiction above and 2) I think i've saw them bash LM before on ATRL.

Requesting for her vocals to be taken off the album seems so... Bizarre? Especially given how much Jesy loves music

idk, she was ready to leave when Confetti started so she probably doesn't have an attachment to this album like the others. plus she contributed minimal vocals, I just hope if it is a re-release that they don't replace her shoddily, they need to properly replace her verses and harmonies and runs etc

Jesy wouldn't have any power to request of removal of vocals, I don't believe? Unless she owned the publishing rights to each song which I'm not sure she does...

they initially got this info from an ATRL insider, who was also wrong in the past regarding their release.

If you're gonna use any Sugababes comparison, surely 'Taller In More Ways' is more appropriate? Isn't that the album that Amelle re-recorded with them? :lol: Can't remember if it was just a handful, majority or all of the tracks. 'Confetti' has already been a much bigger success than S7 ever was. So I'm not sure I get that comparison personally :P

Taller in More Ways was the one that had a mix of Mutya/Amelle I believe?

 

Sweet 7 Keisha recorded, but they were never released (although her versions leaked) Sweet 7's official release was just the current line-up.

 

Also, Confetti tour has officially been rescheduled until 2022, nice to see they've committed to that!
