The girls all have confetti around their eyes & on some of their hands. Not all confetti is paper, there is metallic confetti as well haha.

#NotAllConfetti

I love the name and I’m really excited for it, but really disappointed with the cover. I was expecting a massively colourful and OTT cover for an album called Confetti

I wouldn't be so sure that they're going #1 seeing as Kylie is releasing too and she did 47k in April with Golden, whilst they did just 10k more in November.

And her fans seem more into Disco than Golden.

Also there's plenty of time until November 6th for someone else to release.

I think they'll have it over Kylie to be honest. They have a Prime time BBC show they'll be performing on every week. And unlike LM5, they'll be launching the album with (presumably) 3 hits already on it already. And I wouldn't be surprised if the label went harder with bundles and stuff this time round.

True but the girls have a prime time BBC show that they are going to perform on every week (live shows only, right?) which will obviously help. They will also obviously have way more planned too so i wouldnt rule out that number 1 just yet. It will be an interesting chart battle for sure but i think LM will get it.

They are on The One Show tomorrow for a 'special announcement' ?? Its probably just them announcing Confetti on TV but yeah..

Snap aha

Okay, initial excitement has worn off now haha.

I'm not that hyped over the album cover- they look stunning but all that empty photoshop 101 space at the top is bugging me. They shot this before COVID, no?

It's strange how they didn't announce like.. various editions as well? Usually they have at least a deluxe and alternate covers?

Also, against Kylie I think they'll get the higher peak, I think it'll do 45-50k easily and maybe more? Christmas sales will help them.

They could announce more versions on Friday, or just use the Deluxe version card with new songs/remixes/collabs some time after the official release to boost the performance and guarantee more longevity at the top (like everyone seem to do now)

I feel like Little Mix have more of an uphill climb after LM5 wasn't too well-received whereas Kylie has a lot of good-will behind following the success of Golden and then Glastonbury. As mentioned on the previous page too, Kylie's last album was only 10k behind the first week sales of Little Mix's despite being released in April compared to November - now Kylie has the benefit of the Christmas market too.

I don't think it's a clear-cut win by any means, I can certainly see the benefits for Little Mix this time around that they didn't have last time. I'm siding more with Kylie at the moment though.

I thought LM5 was pretty well received? And one of their more well received albums? It's just a shame because it came when they were changing labels which meant they had to abandon the album campaign after a couple of months.
I think it's well-received within pop forums but I wouldn't say so with the general public. The album definitely didn't perform to expectations over Christmas, before all the label drama.

It's the tour announcement!

LM5’s campaign started in October though, it had absolutely no time to actually begin. Whereas Confetti started in March and has been slowly building. Holiday may not have done as well as BUS but it definitely brought attention. I feel like with a 3rd single they can pull it off.

Disco has been preceded by a underwhelming commercial single (although v good song) so idk, Golden encompassed a very local friendly sound (Country) with another local friendly sound (Dance) whereas Disco may only appeal to a certain group.

But then again, I think Kylie is an amazing woman who makes amazing music. There’ll be no shame in losing the #1 spot to her but I’m still going with Little Mix getting the #1.

I hate that kylie and litle mix are clashing as i would have liked both to have got the number 1 but i want kylie to have the number 1 more.
Yeah, I just think having 3 singles (even if one of them isn't a massive hit) is going to help their first week streaming way more than LM5's. I assume they'll release single 3 in the next couple of weeks.

I'd say disco is a far more appealing genre than country, especially when it comes to Kylie!

Yeah I want both of them to get that #1.

Insane how just in March I wacthed both Kylie and Little Mix one day after the other in Brazil, then on the 24th of July both released new songs and now both are releasing their albums on November 6th!
