The US has a warship close to Iran and it's hoped that an angry Trump does nothing silly in this next 12 days, prompting retaliation and leaving Biden to clear up the mess. He's finished now, this was the last straw. No-one will want to ride on his ticket/ wave for 2024. The guy is a complete one off, there is no Ted Cruz or any of the other Trumpism followers will be able to ride a wave as high as Trump did. Lots of people tolerated him and used him (see all his international allies) but this was the final straw. You can say lots of people have encouraged this and enabled him to do this and I would not disagree. I think it's a real blindsight on many politicians that the man is a complete psychopath. He genuinely belives the election was a fraud.

So you think that a Kamala Harris presidency is a more serious worry than Biden being shot?

I believe Trump issued a "concession" speech from the trending topics I saw earlier, I assume that will halt the need for the 25th in the eyes of officials and it looks like Pence has already refused to use it but I sort of hope it's pushed through anyway, 2 weeks is still too long.

It's such an odd watch, he very obviously had no hand in writing it so it's odd on one hand to hear him be presidential, to use reasoned and considered language and he delivers it quite well. On the other hand, it acts as an ever greater magnifying glass on his disgusting rhetoric for the last 4 years. Plus he couldn't QUITE bring himself to say he lost and the ''our journey has only just begun'' seems like a pretty clear rallying call. Whether that be for a run in 2024 (or at least an ATTEMPT) or whatever con he has in place to line his pockets in the future.

True, although impeachment does rule him out from ever running again. However, I'm fairly sure that he wouldn't attempt it in 2024.

Impeachment seems fairly unlikely to actually amount to anything though. If it happens it’ll make it through the house, but it needs 66 senators to sign off and even at the most optimistic outcome only a handful of Republicans would come on side. It might force cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment, but who knows.

Well his inauguration will be quiet as he doesn’t want a crowd of people there to spread the virus but a lot of Trump supporters will take this opportunity to troll Biden at having hardly anyone at his inauguration

Sky saying that Nancy Pelosi wants Congress to remove the access to the nuclear football from Trump and give it to Pence instead until 20th. She's been told that can't be done without impeachment as Trump's still Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces.
