February 27, 20205 yr Author This is an EP titled 'La vita nuova' out tonight. 1. People, I've been sad 2. Je disparais dans tes bras 3. Mountains (we met) 4. Nada 5. La vita nuova (feat. Caroline Polachek) 6. I disappear in your arms (bonus)
February 27, 20205 yr cool seems like a bit mix of languages with French, English, Italian and Spanish
February 27, 20205 yr Ah I was a little confused as to what this actually was as I saw the YouTube premiere was apparently 13 and a half minutes long and she is advertising a club night also named 'La Vita Nuova' on Facebook so I thought it might just be some kind of promo for that rather than an actual new song - it being an EP makes more sense! (although whyyyy all the songs in one video)
February 29, 20205 yr I'm blown away by this entire project. The music, the visuals — perfect. Caroline Polachek singing in Italian? Beyond grateful for something I didn't know I needed. February 29, 20205 yr yes, it’s literally a few posts above. anyway, very early to call but this might be my favourite ‘package of work as a whole’ from her! there’s so much to take from it and i’m currently adoring every song! The title track is definitely a particular highlight. She’s such an incredible artist. So so excited for what else will be to come in her career as she’s just going from strength to strength.
March 6, 20205 yr It's a film? Oops so I still didn't know what this video was even after it was uploaded. :kink: I wasn't really massively feeling the title track from this despite it being the one most people seem to be highlighting which kind of worried me for the rest of the EP but thankfully there are some songs I like more on there - I think 'Je Disparais Dans Tes Bras' may actually be my favourite even ahead of 'People, I've Been Sad' (reminds me a lot of Beyoncé's 'Sweet Dreams') and I really liked 'Nada' too. The visuals are great throughout as well <3 (having an English version of JDDTB is a nice touch but as usual I prefer the French version)
March 8, 20205 yr Absolutely, it's all really strong. Like Bré, I think Je Disparais Dans Tes Bras may be my favourite. I really like the english version for once too.
