I'm seeing people getting their deliveries of the album already, I haven't had the opportunity to look into it in detail as I've been getting drunk with my housemates/preoccupied with the US election - will that affect the first week sales?

I don't think so, it's not uncommon for albums to be delivered a couple of days before release if pre-ordered. I'm pretty certain all sales will still go towards the first full week of sales.

Yep not released until 6th.

 

The pre orders probably sent out to make sure they reach people for Friday with a looming lockdown from Thurs and potentially busy period for deliveries etc

I wonder which store(s) sent them early? I've not had any of my Official Store orders shipped yet, or my Amazon vinyl.
People will never be happy. Arrives early complain, arrives late complain. Leave it sealed and wait for everyone else.

Amazon Prime is so good for deliveries during lockdown. she could sign loads and get them out. But it is obviously international i guess so not all would count towards UK chart sales like HMV do

All I’ve had so far is a dispatch email from HMV for the blue vinyl - nothing from her official store or Amazon yet. I hope they arrive on Friday but my deliveries have been all over the place atm.
